This couple is probably upper class, which is about 20% of Japan's population, but the gap between the next income bracket is HUGE.

The original commenter was making a joke exaggerating the happiness someone might feel when seeing that their food is delivered by the delivery man. He or she wasn't disrespecting Conan in any way. Conan isn't a god he's a human comedian. Don't be so annoyingly sensitive.
This is what separates Conan from other talk show hosts. I just got done watching Jimmy Fallon freak out about animals for the hundredth time (no offense to Robert Irwin or any animal experts it’s just Fallon never does anything but freak out) while Conan makes hilarity in the moment, genuinely funny jokes, bits like Jordan talking to himself or just laying in their bed. Conan is one of the best talk show host
They are both different in their own way and should not be compared but rather enjoyed for who they are

yeah conan's got an impeccable sense of comedy and timing. i think the critical difference you noted on there is that conan is constantly innovative with his shows, goes out of 'talkshow comfortzones' and also works hard on using his presence in bridging culture gaps (although that falls into the innovation part.)

I really like a british travel show called "Travel Man", the host is one of my favorite comedians (Richard Ayoade) and they have famous guests. If you like that kind of show its worth checking it out.

Not really. The average middle class family of three in Tokyo has a house that's about that size. Those on the lower end live in the tiny 1DK flats, but it's mostly single people or lower-income families. In terms of the average person from Tokyo, this is pretty much normal.
