being in quarantine has made me really bored so, after watching this i ordered one, waited for it to arrive and now here i am. the new seller is called lululook and the product is OULUOQI apple watch link bracelet. This video is basically a AD at this point, its cheaper for a reason, any average jo can be like oh they look the same and whatnot, but it really comes down to QC and materials on stuff like this, for example knockoff isn't 316L stainless steel even though it claims it is, and the "give" between the links on the knockoff are a lot more apparent than on the apple and they genuinely don't feel as sturdy at least to me. and yea having both new right out of the box some people may be fooled between the two, but If someone came up and showed me both after 1 year of use, the apple would be easily identifiable. but hey, if you like standard functionality and dont care much about anything else, this is perfect.

I was going to say, the people who pay the price for the real band aren't doing it just because they want their watch to look expensive. If you want to impress people get the counterfeit, if you are the kind of person who genuinely values quality (not everyone does and that's perfectly ok) then it won't satisfy you.

Yeah, they look the same when they’re new. But I had the Oluqui and it loses it’s color much more quickly. I eventually bought a used genuine Apple bracelet. And the Apple band does look nicer side-by-side. It has a more “chameleon” effect.
Do you have a video showing how the black space grey Apple Watch looks with the silver stainless steel band? I have the space grey Watch and want to see how it would look with that type of watch band thanks
I want to buy the original band one for long term use. Hopefully I pay what it worths
the button system is used to swap out bands. so you don't mess up the watch and the band. you split the band in half and put in each side and then close it again.
or just put both sides in at the same time and slide them together so you're not bending it. No need to take it apart. The button system is more to remove links to size it.

Thanks for your thorough review! How has the OLUOQI's color and resistance held up? I understand that it's not DLC coated like Apple's but some 3rd party brands are extremely prone to scratching. How careful do I need to be with this band?
The color is slightly different from the start. But you know Apple The clean things that aren't necessarily true or any different from other brands. The band is been holding up nicely. Considering the price difference The knockoff is just as good
Are you still wearing to ouluqi? How has it held up? Has it stretched? Does it scratch easily and if it does scratch do you see the silver stainless shine through the black finish? Do you know if they have a good color? Thanks

The Oluqi is much less durable. It’ll start showing bright silver much quicker than a real Apple band. If you only use it on special occasions it’s probably ok. But I wouldn’t use it for daily use.

Hey great information. I also have a big wrist and have been looking for other XL bands. Do you know of any other brands that sell L/XL bands? I've been stuck with the $50 white or black Apple sports band.

Good video but bad lighting.
I have an aluminum Apple Watch, I'm planning to buy a black link bracelet band for it. The link bracelet is made of stainless steel which is a metal and my watch is aluminum, also a metal. I'm afraid of the band scratching my watch when I'm changing the bands. Since you have to slide the bands out, I'm afraid that the friction between the band and Watch case will scratch it. Did it scratch your case? Please let me know, my OCD is driving me crazy.
The metals are both coated to prevent any reactions or scratching between each other. Also, the bands have those little rubber segments on the connectors that provide additional cushioning.
