Ang tanong ngayon, where is jacqueline? Mas pinagtuunan pa ng Chiong family yung case ni paco than finding the “corpse” of jacqueline chiong. Ilang years na ba lumipas? Where is she now? And the witness Rusia? Confessing that he’s with paco in july 16, 1997, the day that the crime happened, if he’s indeed with paco then he should know where the body is of jacqueline. The Chiong family should be eager to know where the body of jacqueline so they could give her a proper funeral but then hello philippines, they focused more on convicting an innocent man to a crime he never committed. Justice is indeed a joke in the Philippines. As a Filipino, I am scared if one day I’ll be accused of a crime I never committed. I would never be surprised if I’ll be judged as guilty. So many witnesses and what happened?! Wtf justice system here in the Phil. I just heard the story a week ago and so I watched the documentary, and I strongly believed and convinced that Paco is INNOCENT. Why would you give or reward the man who raped and killed your daughter?! Crazy mother! I dont know them, im just an ordinary person, but I want to do something with his case but I dont how. As a mother, I can feel the burden and sufferings of Paco's mom.

Disregarding the drama if this case , the process of the prosecution was just unjust. I don’t care if you think paco is innocent or not . But the trial itself was obviously useless and one sided . The media played a big role in this . Even make him look more like a “monster” and here you see the family making a movie out of a tragedy and just wont let the souls of their daughter rest . ( i mean , if they were really murdered.) also I’ll never ever acknowledge the Philippine government nor it’s justice system. All of it is bullshit and bias.

I just can't believe how these witnesses were not taken seriously. It's really a shame to the justice system of the Philippines. 7 innocent individuals wasted their lives in the prison.

When I was watching all the interviews of the Both Parties (Larranaga and Chiong Family) I was reminded of one of my Favourite K-Drama, Pinocchio. How the higher ups frame up an innocent Fire Fighter Captain with an influence of media that the Higher ups also payed to focus more on the Captain rather on what causes the fire. It's somewhat same thing as this Paco's injustice verdict.

Grabe talaga to, pinapakita dito kung gaano ka basura ang systema ng justisya dito sa pilipinas simula noon hanggang ngayon. Hindi parin ako makapaniwala ng nakulong si paco ng napakatagal na walang hawak na matibay na ebidensya laban sa kanya, sana bigyan pansin ito ng sambayanan at muling buksan ang kaso at pagbayarin ang mga Chiong.
So if Rusia was with the seven accused then he should know where to find the other Chiong girl. So where is she? Diba dapat kung yung pito talaga ang gumawa at naka 14 yrs na sila sa prison, my goodness impossible na hindi nila maisiwalat yun lalo na habang nahihirapan sila sa bilibid. The mother is an evil woman dapat hindi nya ginagamit ang mga anak nya sa kasamaan nya. Ang dali lang magpa DNA para sure na anak mo yung hinukay mo. At bakit di nya tinanong si Rusia kung nasaan yung isang Chiong girl, very fishy tsk! 😏

Here’s the judge’s statement on why he didn’t impose the penalty of death on Paco and his co-accused after he handed down his decision of conviction against them-
“But here I am saying, there was kidnapping but it was not certain that there was also rape or homicide. The picture of Marijoy Chiong, you know, was doubtful because they did not take frontal, close-up shots of the face. That is why, I’m not imposing the death penalty.”

This statement contradicts "guilt beyond reasonable doubt" for the simplest reason that there is still doubt and the person who solely issued such statement (on live TV) is the one judge who meted out the sentence. I have no words.

After watching both Give Up Tomorrow and this one, I can't help but get mad when I watched Jacqueline Comes Home trailer (Chiong Story). And why do I feel like the sisters are really alive? 1. The found body was never examined. 2. Where is the other one?
I seriously need to see that movie, just to see their side of the story.
Death of the judge should have been taken into consideration that time....such injustice to all the prisoners who are wrongly accused is so heartbreaking...

Korina Anne Apa i really dont think he committed suicide, maybe there was a foul play. he cut himself right? and also tried cutting his ankles. from the looks of it, he was tortured and forced to write the suicide note.
He was interviewed before he was killed, and he said that he can’t give the Chiong seven the death penalty since there are no hard evidences. So I think there was really a foul play, killed him and forced to write a suicide note.

i find it absurd na gagawa ng effort si Paco pumunta sa cebu to commit the crime then slip back to manila and take the exams as if nothing happened. Nakakatawa di ba? Im not a lawyer wala din akong pinapanigan im going to base everything on the evidence presented. 40+ witness + picture + comments from former nbi directors and the statement of the woman who happens to live near the crime scene saying na wednesday yun at market day madaming tao kaya normal n pra sknya un at pinapirma sya without her understanding the document and airline personel didnt see him fly to cebu plus mga documents ng attendance nya s school.... I dont see him guilty unless they will find more 3vidence that will put the 7 of them to the crime scene or mqybe dna tests

The Chiong's denied the request for DNA examination kasi ayaw daw nila magambala espiritu ng anak nila.But oddly,they cremated it so very suddenly after that was requested.This statement came from one of the Uy's relatives. Kung wala silang tinatago,DNA is the easiest way to identify kung isa yun sa Chiong sisters.Instead,they chose to destroy the only evidence for the body they claimed without even proper identification. Napakainutil na nung maniniwalang totoo lahat ng allegations when all conspired to pin the seven down pero yung witness,mahal na mahal nung nanay. Just wow.

In the documentary, the Chiong family was not sure about the corpse. Kaya yung judge na nagpakamatay ay sinabi na di siya nagsentence ng death penalty because even him and the family were not sure if the body was marijoy.
