One difference between thrift stores in Japan and Korea vs in the US, Canada, and Australia (those are the only ones I've been to) is that in the Western countries/Australia, thrift stores are charity shops and sales are donated to support a charity. Whereas, in Japan and Korea, almost all the so-called thrift stores are actually resale shops and are for-profit businesses. (They are more like vintage and antique stores in the US.) Therefore, as a regular, for-profit business, you would expect that the prices would be higher in the Japanese and Korean resale shops than in the charity/thrift/op shops that people living in English-speaking countries are used to.

Tbh I didn't look extensively but there's so much there it's pretty varied! Plus it depends on your style, a lot of Japanese brands have really oversized silhouettes so it just depends on how you like things to fit!
