Just watched your video and really enjoyed it as I went to this flea market almost every weekend for 10 years when I lived in Tokyo. I always arrived before 8 am, walked along the first covered row where the early vendors were setting up, then out into the car park area as this is where I found the best bargains. I noticed there are many more stalls selling clothing etc. I was interested in buying Japanese antiques and vintage items which I enjoy using every day now I am back in Australia. I found Japanese vendors in general don't like you to haggle, maybe just politely offer a lower price. I was pleased to see my favourite food van selling chicken, rice and potatoes. The owner is amazing. He speaks English, Japanese, Arabic and Italian.
When i visit tokyo always visit here if i have time at saturday or sunday morning. Things i've got here last time : Beats Dr Dre headphone, Aigle waist bag, Valentino Clutch, vintage sega doraemon, walkman cassette player vintage (sony and sanyo), Gaston Luga hipster backpack, some vinyl record, anti social club hat, etc...
Love the video, but the music was driving me mad. lol I've been wanting to go to Oi Flea Market for sometime now but just wasn't a top priority. I WILL go this next trip in Dec or Feb. Thanks for the upload. Cheers ~
There was a very recent documentary and they were interviewing very well-off women. These women were speaking about how they no longer purchase authentic purses and have chosen to purchase really good *preluxz* of the designer bags that they do like. They then take that saved money and invest their money into other things such as real estate, stocks etc.
Thank you for doing this! Lots of good info.If you can, please list good websites or places to find *preluxz* , you know, Hermes is so selective. Also, would love to see something about Lady Dior. I have to say, my heart broke a little when you said “Oh, Prada does these as well”, regarding the serial number. (I’m a nurse, so I probably shouldn’t even dream about owning a Birkin, but I bought my first Prada earlier this year and I was so proud of it. Now it feels a bit like Dollar General ).
@WPUpioneer I don't believe japanese people would lie about that if u asked them. In Spain and France there's a lot of street scammers, but aren't the Japanese perceived as honest and good people? Especially I don't think you'll get scammed by older people
I live close to the Mexico border. I always go for *hotdups* , their quality is great. Some of them are made with leather and really hard to tell the difference from real or not. Either way, it’s your choice. No judgement from me
@@LizJapanDiaries …..is it open in Spring too, late March early April? Amazing views truly a treasure hunters paradise. Appreciate your time and talent to share this!
If you can wear high quality *preluxz* for 200-500 USD then why not. Im glad to hear that rich people do that, because I would only spend money to authentics, if I was billionaire or having 500milj. on my bank account. That´s never gonna happen.
Your attitude towards spending would change a lot when you become a millionaire. Unless you won the lottery, hard earned money isnt easy to let lose. If you know what i mean. You would always be thinking about the future even more saving more for rainy days. Get
