DofE Silver Assessed Expedition, South-East Dartmoor to Bantham

DofE Silver assessed expedition 2021, starting near Holne, down to camp in Harford, before walking south down to the coastal path and along to Bigbury camp, and then reaching Bantham along the Avon Estuary path.
This expedition was put on hold by 2 years due to COVID-19, and unfortunately the girls had moved on, however we did gain Ben! The experience of a boys-only team was incredibly different to those of a mixed team, and I can strongly say that having the girls in the team really brightened things up and without them it was quite quiet, and the mood was fairly flat at times. Ben also had to drop out due to his collarbone essentially re-breaking itself, after not having the appropriate operation from breaking it the first time round, again due to COVID-19.
NEVERTHELESS! It was great to get out for a few days and explore the amazing local areas of South Devon, and particularly to disconnect from the stressful student life. :)
