Gold Dofe Assessed Expedition - Snowdonia National Park (Summiting Cadair Idris)

4 days trekking through Snowdonia National Park completing my Gold DofE expedition. This is definitely one of the hardest things I've ever done (so far!) and is much harder than any of my previous expeditions. We were challenged heavily by the heat, with record-breaking temperatures of over 35 degrees celsius! Many other expeditions all across the UK were being cancelled, however we powered through, and what an achievement to do so!
Summiting Cadair Idris at almost 1,000M (starting from 30) was also a huge achievement of mine, with a full pack, AND on day 4!!!
Big well done to everyone who participated, especially those who summited.
Big thank you to Julia and everyone who helped out to make this possible, I am so grateful.
This was my final expedition as part of my DofE participant career, and what a way to end it!
