Hollow Knight: Godmaster - The Eternal Ordeal (How to Access / 197 Zotes Slain / Eternal Reward)

- This is a fun little endurance match that you get a reward for at 57 Zotes slain. It starts with showing how to access it. The battle begins at 0:23 and the reward is at 10:38.
Charms used were Unbreakable Strength, Mark of Pride, Shape of Unn, and Quick Focus. Getting hit is inevitable so making healing as accessible as possible helps enormously. I found downward pogoing to be great against most Zotes. Zotubra drains your soul so he needs to die quickly if you want to heal or use magic.
There's little point going beyond 57 Zotes unless you like a challenge. I didn't spend much time with this but it would be fun to see how much further I could push it. All of the Zotes get noticeably faster as you go.

all of the godseekers should be spectating in the background at the start of the fight and everytime you kill a zote one stands up and leaves
One has to take into account... that one of team Cherry probably sat down at one point and wrecked their brains about all the different Incarnations of Zote they would put into the Ordeal...
I also think about the poor guy who certainly has a sore throat now after voicing Zote...
The one editing the voices to make the music for the battle was probably having a blast though

No the infinite Zotes, all of them have will, that nobody can overcome all of their will
They must do a prequel:
1. Mighty Zote gets to Hollownest before the plague overcomes the land.
2. The King successfully seals it off with Zote's will alone.
3. Zote's will is not entirely utilized by the plague. Some of the will spills over.
4. Citizens have to pay some gratitude to their savior.
5. Zote uses his remaining, non-dutied will to start a theather. All citizen are bound to visit for free.
6. People are driven into madness by Zote's play. The entire bug civilization suicides to stop listening to him.
7. Zote doesn't notice everyone's gone.
I love how in all the Godseeker fights, Godseeker is always watching.
This is the one fight where she isn’t.
I think this means Zote infiltrated her dreams through sheer ego alone!

For those struggling with this find, I found a little "cheat". Basically, you have 3 zotes at the start of the fight. Kill one and leave the two other alone at all cost, for as long as possible. The replacement will only be zoteling, and you will avoid all others zotes like the one who jump, phantoms etc .... with this method you can be left alone until 30 / 35 zotes killed.

The Kickstarter had a goal for having another 2 playable characters, one seemed to be hornet, and the ending hinted that, and the other one was zote, but that goal was never reached sadly

The godseekers have no idea why they’re here, they just infest their own little place, so they sealed them away where they hope none would find them.

Idk if people understand this as much as me, but Zote will always a favorite character for several key heavy reasons, He has the wills of steel and always goes all force no matter his lack of strength, and the fact he always is trying hard no matter what. He never took failure as he failed, he always took it as he needs to keep trying. Zote, Isnt physically mighty, hes very mentally mighty.
This is just utter chaos. I love it. The singing, man. Amazing.
