I always questioned God since becoming an adult. I mean if you take this whole world and their religions there are over 1000 different Gods that others claim as their God. Who is praying to the correct God? So I decided that the Universe is my higher power. So when you mentioned not only having a God who we believe in but also the Universe or whatever we pray to. I loved that and knew this book was for me. In all books I always replace the word God, with the Universe and it totally works for me and I'm a huge believer.
I've always looked at that as milk vs leche vs latte different words same thing.
So I listened to this book at the beginning of last spring, really took a look at myself 3:08:42 - I killed the stories that limited me. That I broke my back an my head an that’s now me. NO MORE! I stopped living in my pain and started living in my recovery. 1 yr later I can do a handstand an back in college. My past doesn’t define me, it jus helps make the story more interesting!! I love me an I love who I have become thanks to the thoughts in this book. Thank you for putting this out there! I tell everyone about it an that they need to give a read (or listen) to really see what is holding them back within themselves!! Love yourself cuz ur the only one who knows what ur goin through!!

I really don't think that this book has helped any reader in the long term, probably just made them feel sorry for themselves for not 'believing' enough. But luckily this old message in new wraps made a ton of money for Sincero.

Half way into chapter 2 and I already don't like the author.... Maybe don't start a book from your obviously privileged - minded point of view. If you do display humility later in this book, many will miss it because you started out to strong with a "fuck you" attitude.
