Where we are riding: Vallée Bras du nord - valleebrasduno...
Massive thanks to Mountain Bike Quebec and Quebec City for sponsoring this trip and video!
Today we are back at it again with the episode 5 of our Quebec City mountain bike adventure, and I've been DYING to share this trail with you all. In today's episode, we are out riding at Valle Bras Du Nord (valleebrasduno...) where in the morning we will be checking out some of the most unique trail riding I've ever done followed by some seriously gravity fed runs on the larger than life Godzilla trail in the afternoon.
This place is an outdoor enthusiasts dream, and I'm stoked to share it with you all!

Thank you for your visit! It was a pleasure to welcome you!🔥
Thanks guys!! So stoked on what you are building out there and can’t wait to come back and ride again 🤘
You'll have to come back and ride the whole Neilson trail there. It involves a lot of pedaling, but when you get down along the river its so awesome - constant views like on Legende.
I second that comment!
Yeah I wasnt sure if he would do it as he's not that much into kind of xc but man...so much better than legend for the view! So many nice spots to stop!
Neilson is a must do!!!!
That slab next to the river is insanely beautiful. Wow ! Thanks for this one. 💯👍
Dude, Quebec is now a must ride for me. Your videos have been epic!
The part of the Legende that is close to the waterfall is so cool to ride, I love it everytime I go as well !
I wish it was longer and the were more of those !
Get better Mr. Matt 👊🏽 thanks for being a champ
Quebec, fly me out! I'll become an MTB youtuber/influencer.
Loving yours and Remy's QC vids, E47 looks like heaven and every spot you've hit has an absolute plethora of amazing looking trails. Definitely looking to make a trip out next summer.
Hey Alex! You did wayyyy better than what you told me in the shuttle 🚀🚀 Come back any time my friend !
Haha thanks bro!! Much room for improvement but still so much friggin fun!! You can bet I’ll be back 🤘
your videos are so interesting to watch there is always the element of enjoyment guaranteed!!! can't wait to see the MSA experience!
Dude, I love your joy and passion for riding. It shows on every video. You and Brian @BKXC, need to connect on a big ride somewhere soon. That video would be epic. Lol
wow, such amazing trails. The whole experience looks fantastic.
Lucky you got shuttle for the Godzilla!
So glad you enjoyed your trip in our region! 🤘🏼
I actually met someone out in Moab on the Whole Enchilada last year from Quebec city and he told me about how its such a hidden gem people seem to overlook. I really had no idea until watching your videos!
I've been thinking that if its in the cards for you, you should make a trip back down to the George Washington NF in VA/WV area; I've got some rad trails you've missed out on in past videos that I think would make for an awesome video and great way to showcase more of what the area has to offer.
From fast and flowy descents to 2000ft-2 mile descents with exposure and crazy landscape that I don't think you can find anywhere else. Also bigger descents than Reddish knob if you can believe that. Fall's coming up which would be a stellar time to showcase it with some evening rides through a glowing amber forest on the westerly facing ridges. Up for it?
Just returned from George Washington and Jefferson a few weeks back. Second time down there from Ontario. I’d love to know where those longer than Reddish Knob trails are🙊 such a great area for mtb adventure.
I love to hear more about sweet trails in SW VA... may be moving that way soon...
MAybe it was me :)
@@gaud1977 What time of year were you out there?

Excellent video. Really enjoy your honesty.
Such a Rad trip and fucking great videos! That’s for taking us with you!
Totally agree best track I've ever seen in decades of mtbing
Tabarnak, that was crazy I can't believe the trails Quebec has
Riding river slabs and shale beds is some of the coolest riding. Great vid.
Another awesome video what a great series your doing some of the best riding videos out in some time😎🤙
Another totally amazing set of trails! Thank you so much for all this great content!!!
Remy just flew down this trail. You defiantly need to watch it. You will be mind blown
finally im quick to one of these amazing videos!
You did it 👊 Hope you enjoy it!!
what a place, wow
That last jump on the godzilla is just scary!! Took me countless run to give it a shot!!
Man there are a few for sure that have super steep lips and I would need to run more than a few times, but that's why I think it's such a great trail - so much room for progression!
wow...just wow
Glad we had you! I had a blast showing you around. The blue line "Octopus" just opened up this week. You're gonna have to come back. 😉
Yoooo Philip!! Thanks again for the great day of riding my man. Was really so great to meet you and hang out for a day. Cheers and hopefully we’ll meet again!!
Wow looks so fun. Definitely on my short list for mtb adventures
That waterfalls trail is on my bucket list. It's only a 9 hour drive for this southern Ontario boy.
Alex, you have to get to Quebec for a month or two with your van and explore.
Man shoutout to Nick he’s been an awesome host!
So awesome!!! Great video and ride!!!
Wow, that trail looks amazing 🤯
4th, I must have watched it before commenting.

Gotta come back for the Octopus!
This trail network is evolving so fast!!
Heck yeah ! Broke my foot so I’m ripping it from the lazy boy and this is a movie🤙🤙🤙🤙

The intro music tho, nice one.
Wow! Those are some awesome trails! Hyped for your next destination at MSA, are you going to ride the World Cup track?
Nice! What a great place to ride! Guess i'll have to plan a trip and ride the trails in Canada, now should I start in B.C or Quebec??
Love it any tips on a good canyon bike to buy I’m thinking torque
Try out mont-saint marie!
Do it, you climb for those of you s living vicariously through you
After seeing your videos... I want to move Quebec 😅
You should go to the kitimat bike park and trail
Just seen a vid by Heather Munive... OMG, she is Alex's twin sister! The female Single track sampler imo. Hilariously similar voice, style, manner, looks!
Wait... They would make a great co-lab... Or couple maybe 😋😁♥️
Man I wish we had places like that here in the US!
We gotta get the cities behind the initiative like they have; that's really how you get things moving
you guys have nice riding places as well, depends in what area you are located
Not sure what would be more fun, MTB'ing or running the river in a whitewater kayak. Both I guess!
Fraser total animal
Is this doable on a HT? Orbea Laufey Hltd
Third
First!
Can confirm, you actually are first lol
valley bresss du nord vpn!!!
SECOND
Any bear 🐻 spray needed
Shoutout plz
It's not the same without Matt ,get well man
Hey you're doing it too complicated for nothing! lol Vallée=Valley, you can pronounce it pretty much the same as in english. Bras pronounce it 'bra''. Du ''dew''. Nord ''nor''. So if you say ''valley bra dew nor'' it will sound pretty much perfect!! ;)
Awesome trails and hospitality. As soon as their political landscape reverts back to being a free people I will come visit.
It sure looks like North Korea or Russia... 😑
???
@@RWmoose well sure, everything is fine as long as you don't protest the government. Then papa Trudeau will seize your bank accounts and maybe even arrest you for being a "terrorist". Also if you aren't a good little Canuck, you can get Ca-jailed for hate speech. You are free to say what you want, unless it's "offensive": Hate speech and discriminatory speech are prohibited because government has decided these laws are reasonable limits on freedom of expression.
Brutal looking climbs. Climbing a buff dirt road or buff switch backs is one thing, but try riding sustained 10% grade with rocks and roots everywhere... completely different experience!! Reminds me of some of the VT and NH riding just south of VBN
Yeah it's a lot better than it was though. There's a trail that is near godzilla, you had to go up 3km long, 328m climb road with huge rocks, it was no fun at all !
Road to 1 million lets go!!!
