My girlfriend of 4+ years just informed me that she's never had a dance before in her 30+ year life. Not in grade school, not at grad, no prom, no formal gathering, not even at her friends wedding last year! Im gonna surprise her this weekend and This is an excellent refresher!, also knocks off my previous bad habits (like the clasp of the hand) thank you so much!!
It’s according to your relationship. We love interlocking our fingers while slow dancing but we have 2 kids and 10 years of marriage. 15 years as a couple. Not like you get to have a lot of moments to dance so it’s really a special moment each time. Slow dancing with my wife really starts up a time machine in my head about the journey we have been through. The goods and the bads. What she has given me. Damn I love it! Thanks for the video!

Im 60 and i have a younger Girlfriend 20 years younger. And i took her to a very romantic restaurant with a big open area for dancing. I haven't slowed danced in 15 years. This video brought all of that back. We had a wonderful weekend together. She even loved the Ring 💍. Thank you 🙏❤️.

So which dance do you advise 'starting off' with. Thank you for all your videos. Elegance and gracefully dancing is the key. The 'dip' needs to be gracefully undertaken. You need to actually have a 'couple' dancing beside you to 'copy' their elegant gestures. Adding music to the elegant dancing creates 'another' thing to 'worry about' for the novice on the dance floor.
I had practice a lots for this steps, it really helps me a lots,which boast my energy up and I really enjoyed it a lots ,many many big thanks for ur guidance

I'm slowdancing with grandma when i visit her. She and grandpa always used to slow dance when they dated ( 1940's Indonesia) But unfortunalty grandpa isnt with us anymore. :( he died 10 years ago. She suffers from Dementia :( but when i play classic music for her like Doris Day and such. her memories brighten up... and she starts to smile. and i slow dance with her. ♥

We have everything you need on our channel! But if we had to simplify and pick the most important things especially if you and your partner are both at zero experience. 1. Holding hands correctly and taking a comfortable and casual dance position. 2. stand offset left and just get comfortable swaying leading by moving the whole body and not just hips or shoulders separately 3. try a turn just by raising a hand to one side of your partners body and letting them walk around under there own power and not forcing or rushing it. Are you Leading or following?
My school is having a semiformal next month, and I’m here for tips. My hopeful date decided not to go, because he knows how to waltz really well, and his teacher made him waltz with air in 3rd grade, and he doesn’t want to again. So, sad. 😐

To start I would recommend the foxy for slow dancing and the hustle for upbeat music :)
