I believe the gas tank is about 2L, and using quick maths I think my property is about 3km^2, and I more or less have to walk that distance with the mower. It'll run out of fuel about 3/4th of the way through. So 2.5L per 3km is 83.3L/100km? I'm going to pin this comment because I'm actually curious if that's correct or not, someone out there might have a much better formula than I.
Glad you enjoyed it, it was something I thought to do for fun, but quickly realized how much actually goes into these lawn mowers. I don't know how I'd get my hands on more, but I have a little framework setup for reviewing them now.
I’ve still got a spark plug gap tool in my toolbox. I used to have motorcycles. They are inexpensive and handy. Collect some cheap tools like that and years from now you’ll need one and be like “ Hey! I have that!” That was fun to watch and I don’t even have a lawn.
I need to pick one up, once this pandemic is over I'll try to track one down. Part of me likes ordering online and picking up at the curb, but I still like checking out products in the flesh before ordering it, and something like a gap checker seems simple enough, but I know I'll want the perfect one for me.
I have a Craftsman M270 and it has a 159cc engine on it and I notice when it's extremely hot out it won't start if the engine is warm unless you let it sit for about 15 to 20 minutes
Lifting it up a half-dozen times to put it on my work bench wasn’t too hard, I’d say it probably weighs about 50 lbs, something new ones list on their specs page, and something I’ll definitely include if I do more reviews on these.
You might be able to contact Craftsman directly to see if they have a replacement part for it, if not you might have to look for someone selling parts. I don't know how universal these are unfortunately. I've still got mine and it's held up pretty well.
I've seriously considered a ride-on John Deere for my property, and some of them now have automotive-class features 😂I wouldn't be surprised if at some point companies actually add backup cameras or parking sensors to some of the larger mowers.
Welcome to life with a nation-wide halt to press cars. There’s no word when vehicles will begin rolling out again, so far it doesn’t look like it’ll be next week either, so it’s either that or I completely throw in the towel and produce nothing.
fuel efficiency?

Nice one Nile. Great to see something different

Thank you so much for the video! Saved my life
Glad to hear it!

Finally. A review I can USE!
That's what I like to hear! More eyeballs on this video gives me a strong case to make more reviews on them.

Good to know! I haven't let mine get hot before, though we have a lot of dust issues that haven't seem to impact the performance of it so far.
Love it Nile! As an "EV" option, review the Greenworks Cordless Li-Ion 40V mower? Self-propelled and does does 0-100 km/h in 23 seconds!
Nice! I'm going to see if it's a possibility to do some more of these if there interest from the viewers and a way to get my hands on them.
Nice review mate is this thing heavy ? how much does it weigh?

Check out the one-pull grin towards the end of the video hehehe!
It would have been pretty embarrassing if it didn't work on that first pull after all my off-air use since I bought this.
@@PRNTestDrive lol, FoSho
When do you change the fuel filter? Thanks
You should do that every year.
Hi, I m in canada and have c459-36400 , I have lost the grass bag where can I find it ? Let me know please

Nice review nile. Really conflicted on this model. The fact that it’s not optioned with PDC and iDrive makes this mowing vehicle a hard pass for me.

which part of Quebec are you living?
I'm in the Montérégie near Centre du Québec.
Ditch the bag, its an extra hassle for nothing. Keep the blade extremely sharp.
That's how I've been doing it recently, we still have this.
@@PRNTestDrive Nice to know that its maintained and running smooth. Like you said, maintain it and it (things) will last a very long time.
You need a John Deere tractor :)
Yes we do, once I win the lottery!
Did you just go from reviewing S-class and 7-series cars to a fking Lawnmower?
