I used the telemetry on the EANet website and studied my brake point and turn in angles and I picked up a whopping 2 seconds on almost every track. I'm not exactly sure how accurate that is, but with out a doubt using the sky cam option with the comparison model to quicker drivers brake points and telemetry definitely got me up to speed. Its worth a look for sure. I would say I'm about 90 percent on pace for each track now. Instead of hunting for seconds, Im now hunting for those all valuable tenths.

The EA Racenet comparison is a great way to compare lap times quickly. It can really help seeing how those that are faster drive compared to your own laps.

I love your setups man. They make the car feel great when driving but I'm having issue w my speed at Japan, China and now Miami in Career mode. Not to mention, I've had zero mistakes, lockups, dnfs from AI and not a single yellow flag or vsc/sc. Is anyone else having the same issue? I've dropped the ai difficulty almost 10 pts and the AI keeps killing me in the straights. It's not even fun lol.

Same here! The game is bugged in career mode and my team. They should solve it on the 1st update. It has already been reported in EA forum's by many players

You just suck at ERS management.

@luisfigueiredo9878 thanks for the reply man. It's good to know they will fix it.

Yes these are known issues. Zero ai mistakes in career mode even on increased flags, and the ai is super fast on straight. That one’s kinda a balance thing that i don’t think is going to change. I think he mentions in one of the setups how he doesn’t really want wings like this but the ai is just so fast on straights

It looks to me as if the Ai can recharge their battery way faster than the user can and that’s why they’re so fast on the straights. I’ve noticed that the car I front of me will barely have its regen lights on and then on the straight they pull away from me even tho I have ers + drs, especially in Miami

Love your videos and recommend to everyone of course. Question about your setups. Jarno just said that a high engine braking % is super important this year for ERS recovery. Are you taking that into consideration with your setups since the game is so new for the ones so far? Or should I turn up the percentage on some of your race setups to encourage ERS recovery? Hasn’t been a problem so far just curious what you think. I wouldn’t even play the game without your setups & I appreciate your time & effort even if you don’t see this

Engine braking needs to be towards full due to the amount of extra battery it saves. Lower engine braking doesn’t seem to me to give any more rear stability at the description of it suggests

Higher engine braking will cause some instability currently, which is why I've focused on mid to lower recovery. Throughout my testing and with races, these setups will give almost full recovery every lap. If you find that you're not getting full recovery each lap, you can boost it by 10-20, but like you said, I've not experienced an issue with lack of ERS recovery so far. That may all change with the handling patch. 🤷‍♂️

I'm very conscious about my braking, because I've got an habit, not sure if it's a good one or a bad one. When braking I'm always on the verge of locking up, and I can tell because when I start steering it feels choppy and you can actually hear my tyres screeching and struggling to turn in, though I'm always fast both through the corner and the exit, I gain a lot of time. I know exactly why it happens too, it's because I'm braking all the way up to the apex, and right when I'm about to hit the apex I release and let the car coast through. Is it alright? Or can I gain even more time? Should I do something differently? I've noticed that other people don't seem to have this problem of their tyres screeching when braking and turning into corners.

    How to drive fast:
Step 1: Change your name to Fernando Alonso.
Step 2: Drive like Alonso 2005/06
