- This is my take on the wagtail high flyer vs the moerman excelerator 2.0. This is the differences that I notice with using each tool for a couple different situations. There are many more facts about these tools out there. This is just my opinion on it.

Really nice comparison...would be interesting to see if you used a different channel on the excelerator, of course you would need the tape on the channel....Also would love to see you try out the Unger 0 degree with Ettore Brass channels...super fun to use....BTW...Real men use Pink Poles!!!!

Funny thing my employee lost two trad poles I had 3. I just ordered a blue one and an orange one. 👍🏼 Not trying to flex by no means 🤷🏻♂️ that’s just the pole I like to use the most.

I just bought the handle for the excelerator and im happy , thanks for the input about how good it holds water , its 130 canadian but i may buy the pad with clips .

I think what was happening there was your pad was placed a little too high up on the plate... So just a tiny bit of the pad was catching the glass after the squeegee. Its happened to me before 7:03

Put a strip of stair grip tape on the Moerman channel under the handle, that stops the slip. The Wagtail HF original pad is ok, I replaced mine with a modded Norwex pad, better solution holding and scrubbing. A Wagtail 18" HF pairs well with a Moerman 18" Excelerator for two handing.

@@JoshuaTheWindowCleaner really with Mormon you don't have to mod it to make it work correctly, only minor like the tape, others have used duck tape.
@@JoshuaTheWindowCleaner to mod the Norwex scrubbing pad you may need use of a sewing machine or a heavy duty sewing awl.
Hey, Just a heads up. That high flyer will work much better with the wagtail angle adapter, on a pole that is.Try it you'll like it!

Hey bro hope you’re still replying to comments, how did you manage to get your maykker mini attatched to your belt? So cool I’ve never seen anyone do that! Please reply if you can I’ve been trying to figure that out forever.
I use the Sorbo belt and it has loops on it that I absolutely love! Durable and definitely my favorite belt that I’ve tried for so many reasons!

Use the wagtail extension pole for that wagtail when cleaning higher windows...it has an adjustable angle arm for the tip and the pole itself is a great design. or you can just get a angle arm attachment and attach to your own pole.

I experienced the sMewifb the wagtail. I put a new rubber and would get streaks so I stopped using it because it was getting annoying. I also use home Depot ettore rubber blades on it. Probably not the best to use on it I guess
The best to use would be the blue wagtail rubber I used the green unger rubber in this video because the blue rubber came in damaged. I noticed that there is streaks left behind when too much or not enough pressure on the glass you gotta be right there in the middle. This was just from my experience. I wouldn’t recommend you using any tools like that from Home Depot that’s not for the professionals in my opinion check out windowcleaner.com they have great products!!
The reason you are getting the streaks from the HF is that you need to use the angle arm with it anytime you use it on a pole. Saying that I don’t like the HF. There are many things wrong with it. I have recently switched to Excelerator after 10 yrs with Wagtail, and with a few modifications I am liking the Excelerator far more than Wagtail. However I do not like the Moerman channel, clips or pad. I have modified my own clips and use the Wagtail pad.
I’ll be doing some “how to” videos on the Excelerator and how to modify it for maximum efficiency in the coming months, I am still testing it.

My Excelerator channel doesn't slide but the swivel part will randomly unlock - really irritating - I've seen videos with different complaints about it, and I think it's just not that well made - everyone seems to have different problems with it
i have many, my original 2 still work perfectly after 2 years so far.
5:26 - That skipping: The guy on Window Cleaning Resource explained this. It's to do with the angle when you're directly in front of the window - he suggested doing it from the side since you can keep the angle sharp and it won't change.
