"... Or an open window for a winged heart to fly away..." I once told a co-worker that if you didn't like Nanci Griffith, I don't want to know you. I still feel that way. RIP. God needed to have your beautiful voice closer. Don't blame Him.
Without being suicidal I wonder if living to old age is worth the pain we have to go through. Everyday we lose another irreplaceable great, NONE greater than Nanci. Another Morning is my favorite-cranked up high it's a great road song, It is just another morning but thats a miracle and it happens everyday of the year! Nanci you were a miracle and we'll miss you everyday of the year.
I love so much Nanci. I love her voice, her singing and her songs offer unique emotions. And I love her sincerity, her honest and her clean face and I love her grace, her natural elegance. Performance date 9 March 1992 RIP very sweet and wonderful Nanci
She was only 68 when she died. Nanci had so much more to give us. Not fair.

I would give this sentiment a thousand thumbs up if I could.

She's timeless - like her songs..
Wow - just wow. As good as the studio version. Impressive! (Phil Everly is smiling down from heaven.)
She has an adorable little smirk.
Incredible runs on the bass guitar
I wish she still performed :{(>

I'm sorry, would that be Lyndon B Johnson? In the 1990s?
@@dagvognstolen5294 I read somewhere that she was friends with LBJ’s nephew.

Very a top notchh song.
But always that very cheap 80's synth sound. Boy am I glad she re-recorded that song at the end of her career!
