I enjoy the flower expositions sprinkled into your videos as it grabbed my wife's interest in watching with me and now she's hooked too. Nothing beats sharing videos with her so thank you.
Flowers look beautiful. My late Mom used to show Roses, Dahlias and many other types of flowers at county fairs and other competitions. Had over 125 rose bushes at one point. She used to cut some weeks in advance, store them in a spare refrigerator and nurse them until the competition. I remember helping her take in her buckets of flowers to setup for the shows. Ah, brings back fond memories. So, yes, I definitely enjoy these vids. Thank you.
The flowers are looking phenomenal! The hard work you and your wife put into your property has definitely paid off. Oh and “slow down bro”. You are now officially a “Lookie Lou”
I am going to invest in a manual reel to start on a small patch I just planted (Super Seed Store SS5000 mix). If that goes well I’m going to move slowly over the entire front lawn. Hopefully all goes as planned.
Wow, expert land scaping . Dahlias are my wife's favorite flower. She bought some back from The Netherlands and are big as salad plates. A few of them grew 5' tall.
Looking fantastic bud ... maybe it’s time to go back to your (grass roots) hehe and start the walk behind game... my lawn wold scare you and you’ll probably tell me to burn it before anyone saw it but I love the walk behind mow days ... putting stripes down by hand is about my favorite thing to do.... your a rock star you lawn is epic!
Not only are you passionate about mowing your lawn and overall garden maintenance of your property. Your workmanship on that paver parking space is second to none.... LCN mentioned you don't show much in your videos (I watch all of them twice since discovering your channel a little over a year ago and most likely have seen darn near all of your videos). You should start a second channel on pavers and hardscaping as good as that part looks!
Feel better soon connor! I get a bit deppressed this time of year, I like that you do winter videos too...but man I tell ya...this season went by soo fast what the crap!?
My wife has selected our dahlias for next year thanks for your recommendation! Love the simple #mowjob and dahlias tour. Motivation to get my flower beds right. Also, that double heel kick... Sweet!
Looks good England we don’t have the size of your garden crumbs you could fit 2 more houses on there! We have a very small garden not as good as yours keep up the great vlogs mate
I was wondering if you could save those dahlias by putting a plant cover over them, like the white translucent fabric-like covers they put over the palm trees in Galveston during the winter
Love the look of those dahlias! Tried them myself this year but I struggled so much getting them to stay up right... any chance you could give us a peak of how you have them staked to keep them from folding over. They have become my favorite as well! Thanks dude best content on the toobes!
Connor Ward looks like you just loop all the bud or stems to the one stake behind them? Like at 39 seconds in? Thank again Conner! Keep up the good work that paver parking area came out fantastic!
whoever said you can't mow with a 1600 around obstacles needs to watch this video...and come on Connor put some quick disconnects on the power washer equip! Kind regards - JerseyGreens
Can you accomplish the colorful beds without having to buy and replant every spring/summer by using perennials? The few perennials that I have don't seem to keep blooming more flowers after the first set. Is the continuous blooming during the warm seasons only an annuals thing?
Connor, will you lift your dahlia tubers and store them over winter before you get heavy frosts? Most of them should be hardy to 23F or -5C, especially if heavily mulched. Your dahlias look awesome! My favourite is the Bishop of Llandaff.
Do the roots of ninebarks spread and take over spaces? I’d like to plant some along the fence I share with my neighbours, but I don’t want to cause spreading into their lawn. Thanks.
Feel better Connor! Hey, do you use any special fert for your Dahlias during the growing & showing season? My first year of growing them and not doing to bad but yours look so much colorful.
I’m a rosarian and find Dr. Earth fertilizers do the best job for my roses. I have tried several organic brands, none of them compare to Dr. Earth. They also make speciality ferts for other flowers. I use Flower Girl for my geraniums, and their citrus fert for my lemon tree. Check their labels to see which one lists dahlias on the label.
@@DD-rb6hi a little known secret... Ryan did actually edit one video for me. That vid was the one where I was spreading or putting down the Kentucky Bluegrass seed. Look it up and compare
@@lawnrebel I have a clipping pile that's been going for 2 years now but hardly any "compost" material has come of it yet. I try to move it around whenever I dump new clippings but it still looks like dead grass!
@@philzrad you really need to try to put more other kinds of stuff in there. That's the hardest part for me to do. I always have way more grass than anything else. I'm new to this all as well. Try to not dump new grass in the same pile. Try adding other things like leafs this fall and food scraps. Yard waste and then keep waiting.
Connor reminds me of a child that just leaves his toys all over the yard when it's time to come in. But instead of toys it's power equipment that is left out!
Connor Ward in this video your beds didn’t have any grass clippings. I assume you must have just trimmed and then threw down a fresh coat of mulch. Didn’t know if you have any secrets to keeping grass out of the beds while trimming. Thanks. Great channel and beautiful country surround you. Take care.
I actually work at Walmart, so I’m gonna check and see when I go to work today if they have any.. you should make a shirt with flamingos on it that we can buy!!!!
Oh..... Your pavers look incredible. I would never park my vehicle on it. It's a Picasso or Rembrandt piece of work. Way too nice. Very jealous of your paver project.👍👍👍💯👊
Connor Ward thank you. I’ll do that. I appreciate the videos. You’re right about the whole landscaping area making the house. I completely agree. I know how much work your yard is so I applaud you doing that and videoing it!
The intense look of concentration on your face during that trim pass shows not a rebel, but a conqueror of the low cut lifestyle! Perfection!
♥ Can't wait to see you pal
Please continue with the flowers, I love it!

Love you man.

Same dude. You don’t even know. ☺️
Lawns looking great, flowers are amazing, but the shirt tops them all! It’s freaking awesome!
Ha ha. Walmart 6$
The dead heads on the lawn remind me of "The Trouble with Tribbles" from Star Trek.
HA... love it
Those dahlias are gorgeous.
Thanks for thankin' me, brother Ward!
That shirt also makes your yard pop! Looking good before winter!
Yes it does. What is your profile pic?
The "purple diamond F" is my school logo, Furman University
You're right, the lawn looks great, but your beds and pots are frickin' sweet!

I am so impressed you know how to over/under a cable/hose... most people have NO idea

I noticed your “over/under” technique with the hoses there. Got me practicing right after I saw it. Thanx for the inspiration! Oh yeah!!

A very nice movie. Love the passion, Conner. I envy you. Beautiful Dalias
The new paver job looks awesome!

Cool. Diversity is good
I work at a golf course and mow the greens with a Toro greensmater a rider with 3 reels and we have one of those that ur using n this vid
When will we see the rest of the paver vids? LCN showed the end results. Looks freaking sweet!!
They are coming.
Back to basics. Enjoy your mow, it rains here every day

I lift and store. Too much money tied up with them and I love them so much so I want them next year as well
I left some in the ground last fall. They died
For sure, good man! It's borderline temps and is risky to leave them! Best regards from Wales, UK

Dude, that’s a lot of dahlias! Do you dig all those tubers up every year to preserve them?
Yes. I have way too much time and money invested into them to toss them
Awesome lawn! Curious, about how many square feet are you walk reel mowing and about how long does it take you each time?
It’s great when you focus on the flowers. can I prune my ninebarks in summer or early fall they are very over grown?
Yes. I whacked mine down like big time last fall and they are huge now
Thanks they are drowning out my roses.
You should do the San Francisco Giants. It's basic but it is blanked out all uniform one direction. Look it up I like using on baseball fields

I know this is random but, what brand of pants are those? I am always looking for lighter pants to mow in and yours always seem great.
Duluth trading. Fantastic pants
Wanna know where you got that bangin shirt!!! Any chance you could send me a link to where I could get one?
At Walmart in store in Florida when I was there in February. $6. I have seen people here with the same shirt so they might have them where you are
I actually work at Walmart, so I’m gonna check and see when I go to work today if they have any.. you should make a shirt with flamingos on it that we can buy!!!!

yes they do. Not too bad though. They do more so once its cold and frost
How much weeding do you have to do to keep those flower beds so clean?
every so often. I work on them a little every few days. not bad if you keep up on it.
Please add your tubers to your online store this holiday season.
Waiting for the LCN video patiently.....
@Connor Ward - How long does it take to get compost in your climate?
A while. I can't say for sure yet because I just started this pile about 6 months ago. I have not turned it either
How do you keep weeds out of your flower beds?
I weed them and try to cultivate them regularly

Sounds like you picked up some Florida crud

I could hide in plain sight
