Yes do be generous after the leaver as its pulled so tight the cushion gets reduced a lot and a lot of tapes crack and wear quickly on top of the bend.. Aero bars are not as fun or beautiful as round ones to wrap.. Leading edge tight to the bar is a good tip... Thanks..

@@Mapdec Yes I agree. I liked your method the best. The lining up of the figure 8 around the clamp of the lever to centre of the bar is something I have never seen on any RUclips bar wrap video. Have you ever seen the video by Hoton for his semi-reverse wrap, it’s different for sure.
@@Mapdec Wrong for anyone who finds electrical tape aesthetically displeasing +/ doesn't like dealing with tape eventually coming undone. Bar tape is designed to go the opposite direction.

You can do that. You need a tape that is strong and has a moderate stretch and not too bulky.

Any tips for Sram rival levers? I got ok at wrapping Shimano levers but this Sram levers feel a bit weird

Spray adhesive works. Light dust on the bars, don’t touch it.
The mixing on this one was done by Christopher Nolan of Tenet fame 😀
I thought Cinelli bar tape was the type of tape that specified it shouldn’t be stretched when wrapped?
