Thanks mate! 'Lady Nan' sure is a lovely loco! Powerful too! One year they had her shunting the whole goods rake, which was twice as long that year! Glad you enjoyed!
Humbolt136 Yes indeed. Cranmore is famous for it! They sure where! The double header was superb! It is quite a climb there 1/56! The sound will come in very handy indeed!
Typical British weather hampering filming again, Callum. Still managed to provide some excellent clips though! The Ivatt looks very much at home with the freight rake. The Barclay really has got some grunt! Nice double header on the freight as well! Really must go to the ESR at some point. Great video, and thanks for sharing!
TheSoutherner Indeed, and with it being Cranmore it's always a lot worse. Glad yo think so! I did have some more footage earlier on in the day, but it was way to wet to use. She sure does! Was a treat seeing her on that! LOL! Yes, the crew gave us a little show with her, as I told them we had not got as many shots as we liked, so they gave use some power and wheel spin ;) . The double header was superb indeed and more than made up for the weather! If you do drop me a line!
Great Vid mate! Even though the bad wether you got some excellent shots! I loved the double header at the end! Gave me a few ideas ;) lol great work and keep it up like usual!!
olivertj47 Thanks mate! The weather was awful indeed! Glad you think so! The double header was superb indeed! Lucky the weather held off a bit for that one! Ohhhh, I wonder what that could be... ;)
***** Sure did indeed! Never been out when it's been so windy and wet! Was thinking about giving up! Both the the crew, volunteers and that double header more than made up for it!
Great video as always. Really like the first shot. Looks like there is some great lineside locations along the line :) Looks like you didn't have the best of weather. Great video :) Ryan
Hornby Train Lovers Thanks mate! Glad you enjoyed! The locations all seem to be in one place, as it's quite a short line, but it a 1/56 climb, one of the steepest on a preserved railway, as the engines always make a great sound climbing it! The weather was awful indeed. I did have some more footage, but the rain spoiled it too much, though the sounds should come in handy ;)
FGW2012 Thanks mate! It sure was indeed. A big shame about the weather hear. There where a few more clips before hand, but those will be used for sound, due to the rain getting in the lens. They crew there sure did give them the beans up that steep climb! Glad you enjoyed!
Great work as usual despite mother nature's best efforts to do her worst! Loved that first shot of the Taffy, she looked good on the local rake! The Ivatt looked superb on the freight, especially when she was working hard up the incline! Very nice to see Lady Nan shunting and great capture of the slip! The Ivatt looked superb on the 2 coach local with goods, very nice indeed! The double headed goods looked superb as well, it made quite a sound on the way up, did they do two round trips with it? Great work and thanks for sharing!
PeakeyFortySix Thanks mate! It sure was awful weather. She sure did indeed, made a lovely sound. The Ivatt was really on the ball, again and excellent sound that will come in very handy! LOL! Yes, the crew knew we were have a bad day filming wise, so decided to do a bit of a show with 'Lady Nan'. The double header was worth waiting around in that weather! Sadly it was just the 1 round trip with the double header. But they both put on a superb show! Glad you enjoyed!
Lovely as usual. Doesn't look like the weather was cooperating much. Is the model shop still there? Seemed they didn't have much stock when we were there. Wow, it has almost been a year. A lot has happened. Rob
Trains Big and Small Yes, it was! A common rake that would of been seen on many Branchlines around here. It was a bit though many Ivatt's did see service on the Western Region, so could well of been ;) Glad you enjoyed!
***** Was awful indeed. Was think about giving up, but decided to stay. Must say it was well worth it in the end. Yes, I had to hold onto the tripod the whole time, so sadly was unable to get pictures. Never mind ;)
Aaron Thompson Thanks Aaron! It sure was! Guess you spotted yourself in some of the clips. The weather was a massive shame indeed. LOL! That added to the effect! The crew knew I was filming and did not have much luck with a number of my shots, so decided to put on a bit of a show with the slips. She's so powerful for her size! Again, sorry we did not have time to meet up.
+poole train boy Far from it compared to this! Did have some more footage, but it there was so much rain on the lens it could not be seen. The sounds where good though ;)
Weather seems to have effected the quality slightly - a bit of 'blockiness' compression artifacts. Even more than my movies lol. But cracking shots as per usual. Thanks for getting cold to take them. Laurie
Calvertfilm Thanks Laurie. Yes, the first shot is really bad indeed! Though the original clip it fine. I think it is because, like with all my videos, I have to lower the quality for upload to RUclips, other wise this video would of taken over 12 hours to upload! That combined with the tree moving around so fast in the background must of caused that. All the other shots are un-effected. Must of been that angle. Still glad you enjoyed! LOL! Plus you forgot wet too!
SDJR7F88 Yes, well my videos are also compressed to some extent. Since my PC was made in 2003 I am using old codecs as well. So I can empathise. Generally your shots are very clear. Dedication Callum.
***** Thanks mate! No of course not! I just have been so busy I have not had time to comment on everyone's videos. I have a too watch list a mile long ;) Will check out your next videos ;)
I haven't commented for ages but I have had alot of suff going on resantley (misspelt I am only 12) but any way I love the east somerset railway I am going to have my birthday there on the 13 of may. I am going to go to the west somerset railway this holiday .
Fab video. It's nice on the footpath now that's been cleared! and I think it's 1 in 56 not 36 but they still make a great sound regardless, again great video though.
No where near it! LOL! Yes, indeed! I have a brake this weekend, then it's the AVR Diesel Gala and Swanage Steam gala the next! LOL! So more to come! Got another Signals Sponsored review on the way though ;)
Always a good show, thanks for sharing Callum.
Michael Hill Thanks Michael! Glad you enjoyed!
Once again great footage!
Great video. I really like the 0-4-0 industrial shunter.
Thanks mate! 'Lady Nan' sure is a lovely loco! Powerful too! One year they had her shunting the whole goods rake, which was twice as long that year! Glad you enjoyed!
What lovely weather you had! :S The locos really were barking up that bank in the first shot. Good to add to the sound bank :)
Humbolt136 Yes indeed. Cranmore is famous for it! They sure where! The double header was superb! It is quite a climb there 1/56! The sound will come in very handy indeed!
Great weather Callum think the best place to be that day would of been in the guards vans some good shots cheers Kevin
LOL! It was indeed not very nice. Was thinking about giving up at first, but glad I stayed on. The double header shot was well worth the waiting!

Rob McCrain Thanks Rob! Sadly it was not on our side. Really awful indeed! Yes indeed, full stocked now. Wow! It nearly has! Time sure does fly!
Was that a milk tank car or wagon behind the 2 car passenger train? Its funny to see an Ivatt steam engine coupled with a Toad brake van.
Trains Big and Small Yes, it was! A common rake that would of been seen on many Branchlines around here. It was a bit though many Ivatt's did see service on the Western Region, so could well of been ;) Glad you enjoyed!
Not the best of days for filming Callum, but you managed to do a good job with the camera ..wonder the wind did not blow you all down ..Dave
***** Was awful indeed. Was think about giving up, but decided to stay. Must say it was well worth it in the end. Yes, I had to hold onto the tripod the whole time, so sadly was unable to get pictures. Never mind ;)
Great video! It was a great day other than the weather! Shame Lady nan kept slipping!

You did get some good shots then. Great video. Matt
MI Rail Thanks mate, yep just about. Did have another 15 mins, but they all covered with rain drops. The sounds will be good from them though.

Smashing video,,, well done for braving them windy wet conditions,,,,, Alan
***** Thanks Alan! It sure was very wet and windy indeed! Was thinking about giving up, but it paid off in the end ;) Glad you enjoyed!
When ever i go there i always end up spending a fortune in east somerset models. Dangerous place to have a model shop right by a preserved railway lol
Chris Dodd Indeed! Though I managed to to avoid temptation on this visit!
Great video! Just to check, I haven't offended you or done something to upset you have I? Havent seen you active on my channel in over a year.
Dan

Great sound from the locos! Not quite as good as Blaenavon though eh? Nice video mate, keep 'em coming!
Tom Branchline They sure did preform well! LOL! Will have to see ;) Just a shame about the wind and rain, but worth it in the end! Glad you enjoyed!

It sure is! The sound was amazing! Well I got the 6 bit right, will change it over now. ;)
Not the best of weather for filming. You have been out and about recently 3 galas in the space of over a week!
