This is truly the beat mod IMHO. The foam mod isn't as good as stronger springs. I have actually gone beyond and stretched all the springs, putting the plate back was impossible - So I have put them in a vice, compressed them, put three loops of string to hold them compressed, and put them back and mounted the plate. Voilá! - The brake is now simply amazing and the gas has just the right amount of feedback so I know that I am actually stepping on the pedal. I had intentions to actually cut the string once I would assemble the pedals, but I have found out that I accidentally compressed them in just a slightly more compressed state than it's their maximum uncompressed position when installed in pedals. So I just left the string there. For anyone who also wants to do this, first, measure the springs, or translate their uncompressed pre-mod state on paper, so you can then compress them in a vice just right.
Hello sir if it's ok can you use a multimeter to test one thing for me? Thanks! I need to know if the right most 2 pins of each row (of the pedal's male plug) are shorted together(3pins should be the top row) I'm trying to make an adapter for my dfpro wheel thanks in advance
@@freshcustomsYT I afraid broke plastic cover if I put extra tension ;) I need to be sure that I place it in correct way aligned with stuff inside, but it hidden by cover itself.
Hi there, Zallahs L. I haven't personally rewired the pedal cable. If you can't find the 7 pin connector why not just wire it directly to the steering unit... I found this pedal connector diagram on-line... Checkout the link if interested... www.google.com/search?q=logitech+driving+force+gt+pedal+cable&client=ms-android-samsung-ga-rev1&prmd=sivxn&sxsrf=AOaemvLkc2v92f6sxHPiDnHNMIhzOj3BAA:1638096497750&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjuk-z-8Lr0AhXiQUEAHQtVDKMQ_AUoAnoECAIQAg&biw=412&bih=789&dpr=2.63#imgrc=JvW8pUbgZ5i6KM
I suspect that these are custom springs and you can't buy them, they cost pennies at the sort of quantity that these pedals were made at. I suggest you look through McMaster-Carr catalogue whether you can find a matching spring. If you do, you have a part number and may be able to buy it. If you don't, then there's no point looking elsewhere. Your next options are finding another used set of pedals, constructing ones of your own from scratch, or figuring out a custom mechanism that would provide return force to the pedals.

What type of grease do you need for the springs?
Hi there, I used LM Grease-2 from Castrol
How did you manage to assemble it after mode dine? I can't put cover back.
Hi there, you just have to apply pressure evenly and take your time assembling
...it all depends on how much extra tension you applied to the springs.

Damn so easy. Gotta give it a try
gotta set with cut wires fixed the wheel but struggeling finding the pedal cable any suggestions?
