I'm not a fall gal either, but I love HST designs. I loved the fussy cut squares cut on point. I now want to make a fall quilt. Thanks for the inspiration!!!
Woo hoo....happy to inspire a fall quilt❣
Love this !! Mitered corners are fantastic!!😍😍AND that glue thingy along the edge! Magnificent!! 😄
Thanks so much! 😊 The glue really did work just like pins...✅
I use glue for EPP and now for piecing 😄thx so much!
Very cleaver tip for the mitered corners! Thanks Tracy💕🧵
I love the look of this quilt. It's slightly scrappy but purposely executed. It's a work of art. Thank you for sharing your time and talent with me.
You are so welcome...my pleasure❤️
I appreciate the step by step visual to building that block. I have always wanted to make an HST quilt w the light/dark bands
and building it by blocks makes so much sense. Also, I love the focal fabric diamond in the middle of each block.
Thank you so much for all of the kind feedback...I appreciate it very much❤️
I love it. I'm thinking I need to do this one now. I want to different throw size quilts for different seasons/holidays. This would be perfect for fall/ Thanksgiving.
Awesome...this is a perfect Autumn time quilt for sure Ann❣️
Wow! The shade fade effect give rich dimension 😮😊❤
I am a fall gal, and I must say you have a perfect eye for color. The fall quilt is beautiful.🍁🍂🪴🌾
Awe thank you for the kind words Kateilin❣️
Ah Ha! I'm not the only one who sews barefoot! I have to feel the pedal under my foot. Anyone else need to do that? LOVE this quilt! Teal was the perfect addition (like a dark Autumn sky!)
Always barefoot 😊 same have to feel the pedal
Barefoot or socks even at sew alongs I don’t want my foot pedal to get dirty!
I loved your colors in this quilt. They're me. The center piece with a picture is real nice. Now to hunt up fabric like that
The quilt you are making looks like the pattern of Good Night Irene.
Stunning quilt. Love it.
What else can I say besides wow! I love Fall, I love your quilt and I love how your brain works. You never disappoint!! You did an amazing job!!
Thank you for such kind feedback ...I appreciate your encouragement❤️
I love how you fussy cut the middle and I love the shading!

@@TheSewingChannel Yes, I am not into fall colors much at all as you know. I am note in the the bright Red type of thing! Basically anything with a big color pop. I think I still live in the 70’s! 🤣
@@TheSewingChannel auto correct kills me, but you got it I know.
Tracy, I have a question where did you find that absolutely adorable glue stick pin?
Here's the link to the sewing glue stick : amzn.to/44Rl29h
@@TheSewingChannel Thank you Tracy!

OMG this was just the pattern I was looking for! I can't wait to get started! I'm making a quilt for my daughter-in-law and have some beautiful fabrics, but I just couldn't find a square that really inspired me to go ahead and cut that fabric up.... :D! This is the perfect solution, and will complement these beautiful florals perfectly! Again, you have inspired me!! Thank you! (and thanks for the awesome binding tip!!!)
Wonderful!🩷
Wow!you are an artist! Thank you for the great tips and teaching about the glue and hst' s i kind of gave upon them for a while, but now I will try again. God Bless you. You are amazing!

I broke a needle yesterday! Went clear to the nail and out the top of my finger ! I not very good at pressing my seams about! I’m going to have to do this from now on! Seeing the ortho surgeon tomorrow! Yippiikia!
OUCH!!!! so sorry.
I love that fabric that you fussy cut!!!

Thank you...yep..time for a fall quilt...have fun with it❤️
Thought I’d give you a laugh, I’ve just put this video on and was trying to wipe the fluff off of my phone when I realised there are a couple of threads on your board behind you, explains how I couldn’t wipe them away 🤦♀️🤭 love your channel 👏
Oh my word!!! That is too funny Laura🤣😅😂
I've used glue for binding, but that tip is brilliant!😃💗😃 thank you!!
Fantastic! I love the glue tip for the triangles!❤ I sometimes struggle with mine, so that will be great! Take care!
Awesome...it totally works too!!!✅
Good tips I will tried this thank you
Love, love, love it! 😍😍😍 Thank you for sharing. 😊🌹🦅
You are so welcome!❤️
I use glue on borders, binding and anything else where seams may get skewed it works wonders
Замечательно сделано и очень подробно показано. Спасибо!
Пожалуйста❤️
Think the glue will be a game changer for me! I avoid patterns with HST’s as much as possible, since I always wind up with wonky and it’s not in a good way either😂 Thanks
Love your quilting - so fancy!
❤️
Fall colors are my favorite! I love the design. Thank you so much for the video.
You're welcome Karin❤
This is a good block 🎉
It sure is❤
Hello! Judy here. This quilt is beautiful. Love the colors and the pattern!!! Great job!!🎉❤❤ Thank you for sharing with us and for inspiring us and educating us!!!! Love you, dear lady!
Love the quilt and a great way to use scraps. The reason your square in a square blocks were not always the correct size is because your center square is off. The math to get the correct size is nasty. You cut your center squares 6". It needs to be slightly larger, about 6 and 1/16th. In my opinion, the easiest way to get the correct is cut a 6 1/4" square and trim down using Deb Tucker's ruler that has the actual size on the ruler. They will come out perfect every time.
Thank you for the tip❣️
Oh Tracy, I LOVE, LOVE,LOVE this quilt! I'm so excited to make one! Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge.
Beautiful 🎉quilt
Thank you Madeline❤
@TheSewingChannel love your ideas, also I own 3 same rotary cutters
I love hst the best lol
They are so much fun for sure🎉
This tutorial and the quilt are EXCELLENT!!! I absolutely love all of your tutorials, but I was glued to the screen the entire time!!! I LOVE it!!!❤
Love your channel. I also love your new hair style. It's a small change but it's great.
Thank you so much 😉
This is a great video! The glue tip is genius, although I would never have the patience to do ALL the HSTs individually. Been meaning to get a command hook for my rulers. (Heading for our garage now.)
Thank you❣️ Oh the command hooks are a total "must have" on all rulers in my sewing room✅
I love it ♥️
I’m working on a hst quilt now. I love them.
Awesome Rachel❤️
WOW, you are an amazing quilter ! Thank you

Very pretty! Love the FMQ!!! 😮. Gorgeous!! And it looks so good on the minky! I want to learn it and quilt my own someday. If I could learn it and get as good as you and Angela Walters, I would make and sell quilts! You all are quite inspiring.😊

One of your best videos. THIS one I'm going to try! And PERFECT timing. It has been time for a mindless project so I've been going through my stash and mindlessly cutting 5" SQUARES. I have lots now to make all kinds of HSTs. Can't wait to start.
How awesome Sandra❣️
Tracey, started watching your video at least 5 times! Finally made it all the way through (no, I didn't restart from beginning each time) you know how distracting grandbabies are😊 Love your quilt! It looks so nice and comfy. Sorry your needles kept breaking. Have a good weekend😊
Tracey, we're looking for our 3rd GREAT grandchild in late September, early October. She says this is the last one! I say it's a boy.
