    I was looking for nude mattes with peach undertones and these are perfect for me! It’s not easy to find colors that give a lift on my eyes and I find that peachy nudes slightly bright and lighter than my skintone are the best for this purpose.
    Unfortunately most of these shades are too deep for me in Viseart and other brands, but this palette should work! I even ordered a few palettes from Asian brands because apparently they’re the only ones who provide a wide range of light beige tones.
    It’s rare to find these light colors leaning peach in Viseart offering, because all their warm palettes have deeper mattes (only Spritz edit has lighter nudes, but less peachy than these). These light peachy-beige tones cannot be found in their 12 pan offering either (I have neutral mattes, warm matte, cool matte, GP1 and GP3).
    I was decided to buy the Tarte Juicy palette to find these colors, but I’m happy I resisted because now I can find them in Viseart formula that is my absolute favorite.
    I understand this palettes is not for everyone, but I’m glad that I can find the colors I’ve been looking for years!!!

    I skipped this one because I have Tiny Marvels which looks similar, but I did get the Viseart Violette and I have many other of their pallets. It does look very beautiful though. Don’t worry about the noise, construction is going on EVERYWHERE 🤬

    Thanks for sharing, think I'll pass on it to. I'm still waiting to get the Petite Pro palettes (once I talk myself into getting them ) hahaha :) Don't worry about the outside noise xox Just a question, I have the Paris Edit already, do you think it is worth getting the Midsommer, or just stick with the Paris Edit (hence my procrastinating). Thanks have a great week xox

    • @TheHoodedLid

      I didn't gt the Paris edit myself, but I do think they are very similar. If it were me, I wouldn't. But I wonder if there are more mattes in Midsommer (I haven't checked). If so, and if you prefer mattes...maybe

      I love the Petit Pro Midsommer it’s my favorite. . And Violette ETENDO.. I am sorry I purchased the Paris Edit & Rose . I should have picked one, I think they are a lot a like too many peach shades.

    Viseart pulls from their cool/neutral/pro palettes, but they don’t say in their copy, sadly. Temptalia does a yeoman’s job by doing the research.
    Try real Japanese brushes like Chikuhodo, Koyudo, or Sonia G. Beautylish has them.

    I do enjoy my Rephr brushes. I also love Wayne Goss and Esum. I use Sonia G love them but you already have those. BK beauty brushes are also fantastic. Bristles beauty brushes are suppose to be great. I am getting ready to order some myself. I am not affiliated with any of the brands. I just enjoy good brushes. Hope this helps.

    • @TheHoodedLid

      Thanks, Lynn. I do have some Goss brushes. I use my Smith brushes almost every day. But I really want small detail brushes - and it's hard to tell online just how small or large the brushes are because most companies don't provide the measurements. Hakuhodo makes great brushes and provide the measurements which is so helpful, but there's not really much in the small detail selection. If you have any ideas on detail brushes -- I'm ALL ears!!

    I'm not sure what to make of this either. It's beautiful, sure, but I'm not seeing good pairings in it, beyond maybe a 1or 2 and done look. I'm not opposed to that at all, but I think I already have similar shades I could recreate that vibe with instead.

  • @milkrock.

    Thank you, this is helpful, especially the last bit. I was hoping for that blueish metallic shade at bottom right. I love the ethereal look 2 on you 💕 the addition of inner shade warmed up the all-over shade.
    I don't find the story too strange. It quite reminds me of asian beauty palettes, but to see 3 of the shimmers look too similar, this may be a pass.

    • @TheHoodedLid
      @TheHoodedLid  3 года назад +1

      It's so strange that in the photos the shimmers look very different - but swatched...not much difference. I'll continue to play with it - maybe I'm not skilled enough to figure it out - lol

    Rephr is supposed to restock in March and April. Not sure when or what brushes as that is all they have said.

    • @TheHoodedLid
      @TheHoodedLid  3 года назад +1

      That's so funny...I saw someone say a few weeks ago "Rephr has restocked" I went to the site and it was (I just didn't know what to get...so I sat on it for maybe a week). Then when a viewer suggested those three brushes, I went back and most of the brushes were sold out. I don't understand what the production issue is, but I've heard people say "oh, Rephr has restocked" many times since they came onto the market. I wonder if this is a way to create demand?

    • @shonabre7211
      @shonabre7211 3 года назад +1

      @@TheHoodedLid It does take a long time for the handmade Japanese brushes. No matter what brand (Rephr, Sonia G, Wayne goss etc). But I think they just have so many "influencers" here on RUclips promoting their brushes that they can't quite keep up. They are a smaller business. They have made many statements apologizing for people not being able to purchase and they say they are trying hard to get more supply. Idk exact truth or not. I'm waiting to purchase myself.

    I don't mind it because I'm used to so much noise where I live. I wish Viseart would do a larger palette (maybe a 12 pan like Paris Edit) devoted to their Petits Fours Lilas.

    What is the texture and feeling of these shadows? Are they wet/dry? Much fallout? Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️

    • @TheHoodedLid
      @TheHoodedLid  3 года назад +1

      Viseart shadows run a little "dry" to the touch. They are not silky or creamy - BUT, they work beautifully on the lids, including crepey lids. Shadows don't skip of jump and I never have to blend and blend and blend (unless I've gone in too heavy and dark and I want to sheer it out).

    Dear, do not buy Rephr. For the same price, buy Hakuhodo J series. Much higher quality. No affiliations, just quality. I’m a fude lover and collector since 2015. Rephr is the Morphe of fude. The smaller eye brushes have literally the same price of Rephr. Face brushes are more expensive and still worth the money

    • @TheHoodedLid
      @TheHoodedLid  3 года назад

      Thank you SO much! I was holding it in the same regard and though that too many influencers talked about this brand and had code to this brand. My feeling was that was actually their marketing plan. The problem with Hakuhodo (I have several from the J series and LOVE them) is I can get a good idea of what the size of the brushes are. But...it's been a few years since I've been to their site. I will take a look again! Again, that you so much for confirming my suspensions!

      Seems like they are taking lunch at 12noon every day - so I may be able to work around them - but I can't imagine 3 months of this - lol!
      Yeah - this is a hard palette for me - without a doubt there are more talented people out these when it comes to putting colors together, but those two cool shades...I don't see how they relate to the rest of the palette! Thanks for watching, Arianne!
