That was a great video. I have an MA in screenwriting here in the UK, this video gave excellent sensible advice. Well done, mate. I subscribed to your channel on the strength of this video. I'm looking at buying an alternative to Final Draft because the latest version doesn't work on my pc. I'm considering Fade In, Arc Studio, or Movie Magic. I'm looking at my options. Thanks for this video. You did a great job.

Great info! Definitely agree with that last one 100%! A question I've been struggling with recently in my efforts to learn screenwriting is about metaphors. Not metaphors as portrayed on the screen visually, but metaphors used in a spec script to describe characters or settings or action to help convey more clearly, an image in the reader's mind. Yay or Nay? And why?

The 8th one hurts. Because, sorry, but there are a lot of bad ones out there. I'm not a pleaser and never will. No deals for me, I guess... back to writing..

The easiest thing in the world is to be an unpublished screenwriter who sits around criticizing other people’s work
