Think of a hammer on as an emphasis- to create a high and low - they call it they say a call and response- like an answer to a question- it’s just for you know where you are also - not to sound boring - or you can use to close something that repeats - - or to end it - or start it -like your voice rises and lowers -like a different tone and a high tone - hammer on does that - creates a tone - so aaaaaahhhh (open string) - hummmm ( hammer on) Jimi Hendrix was good at it -

In the tutorial by Josh Baldwin, he doesn't use a capo. I'm new to playing so I'm curious why you use one. Great video!
I just did it to make it easier for me to sing..all the capo first is change the key to the song.. you can do it either way
