I prayed one night for GOD to deliver me from smoking and the next day I woke up I had no withdrawls nor any more addiction! I am now 21 yrs free Praise GOD ! He does answer prayers so keep praying!
I can attest to that with my husband. Although he did not smoke much, but also he asked for his desire to drink to be taken away and to this day he does neither now.

I was molested at the age of 7, I never processed it as a teenager, or even as a young man. Many Christians think that God will just magically remove the stumps in our lives (which He could supernaturally do...not saying He's not able), but He wants us to grow in Him and then "we" by the help of Holy Spirit will begin removing all those stumps in ours lives, supernaturally. He wants us to be properly equipped with His Word and knowing He's got us, and that ultimately, He's in charge. Healing sometimes, takes time. Now imagine if it was your mother, brother, or a cousin. See for me, it was all three. But praise God, I'm still here. I served in the military (Army), still have my sanity, own a home, and still look forward to God's miraculous Blessings He has for me. I lost my grandpa in 2011, or 2012 then after that my uncle got hurt and we thought he would never walk again then I thought fear was creeping into my life for what it put my family through but a few years later my uncle can stand up and can walk again.

I was molested at the age of 7, I never processed it as a teenager, or even as a young man. My walk with the Lord revealed to me that the moment I chose to never speak of, could very well be responsible for the mentality I developed towards sex, women, perversion, and sexual immoral endeavors, like Pornography. I was always worried what it could mean to my family..he was my Grandmother’s husband, my uncles father, and my mom loved him so much, unconditional love, always so grateful when he offered to help us in any way. I was afraid of speaking the truth, but no more. I told my family of this atrocity that had fallen upon me at such a young age. Although it only happened ONCE, the image remained. But there is no pity necessary here today, yesterday, or tomorrow, for I stand here today Redeemed in Christ Jesus, I stand firm in his Glory, I stand tall in the redemption of my past transgressions. The Lord pulled me away from the worst things about myself, and the more I dove into Christ, the more those things began to fall away, by the sanctity of my Salvation.

Many Christians think that God will just magically remove the stumps in our lives (which He could supernaturally do...not saying He's not able), but He wants us to grow in Him and then "we" by the help of Holy Spirit will begin removing all those stumps in ours lives, supernaturally. He wants us to be properly equipped with His Word and knowing He's got us, and that ultimately, He's in charge. Healing sometimes, takes time. Now imagine if it was your mother, brother, or a cousin. See for me, it was all three. But praise God, I'm still here. I served in the military (Army), still have my sanity, own a home, and still look forward to God's miraculous Blessings He has for me. Man, people just don't know the power of the true God, that I serve. They didn't know (those who exposed me to such demonic activity), who they were doing those things to....a future king of a Most High King. I could share more, but I'll be quite for now. I'll just say, though God loves them too, I was able to see their life's path, and asked the Lord is/was their negative dispositions later in life because of the horrendous things done to me? The Lord simply answered, "I correct those whom I love". Now, how He does it, is up to Him.

I lost my grandpa in 2011, or 2012 then after that my uncle got hurt and we thought he would never walk again then I thought fear was creeping into my life for what it put my family through but a few years later my uncle can stand up and can walk again.

Please don't take this as a criticism, but when I sing this song I change the lyrics from "My fear doesn't stand a chance" to the lyrics "No, fear doesn't stand a chance." or I just leave off "my" because I will never sing that fear is mine! Love the message!!!

I heard this for the first time and its so powerful! The ONLY thing that I would change is claiming fear as yours with a possessive pronoun -"MY fear doesn't...." God did not give us the spirit of fear - so it isn't ours to claim. I'd rather sing "Fear doesn't stand a chance."
