Such a shame he opted not to release this then. I mean I LOVE the Trouble Man soundtrack but this is a great album
Wasn't his choice. The head of Motown Berry Gordy didn't want him to release the album because it was too political.
@@wussgoodwussreallygood6619 actually that was the What's Going On album. My. Gaye opted to not release this album because the first single and title track wasn't as big a hot as he'd hoped. At least that's the word from all the Marvin Gaye and Motown biographies published.
