  • GRIT is a rules-lite, low-ish fantasy TTRPG suited to one-shots and short campaigns. When I ran games, I was super impressed with the super slick character creation, the d12 based combat system, and of course the awesome artwork!

You're very welcome! My groups all had a ton of fun playing the game - and really enjoyed the speedy combat: it was so refreshing to be able to have the dramatic back and forward without having to stop every couple of minutes to refer to different sections of rulebooks, or worse having to get out a calculator, as was the case in one game in a different system I played recently.
Wishing you all the best with the game - hopefully it will be the success I think it deserves to be!

I have my copy but it is still in the "table queue" 😅
Very nice video man, gave me a good overview of the mechanics and vibes. I will surely return to rewatch it before i run my first Grit game 😁

I've played Grit a few times. I echo your comments in the video. For an experienced GM it's so easy to get to the table and play a one shot. It's one of the few systems that if someone said let's play an rpg tonight I could pull off the shelf and say give me 30 minutes to prep then we can build characters and get started. It's just loose enough that everyone always ends up having fun.

Marvelous presentation and super slick video highlighting a game I can't wait for more people to play. Thanks for covering this. Great work!

Thank you! I realise I made a big deal about the mechanics, design and art being a one-person endeavour, but as with any well planned game, there were a load of people involved in the playtesting and getting it over the line. I've got the sleevenotes open now, and you're down for some Special Thanks... well deserved I'm sure!!

@@RenegadeRolls Yes, Ryan was an immense help with this project. He put in a ridiculous amount of work with the editing, rules noodling, and playtesting. There were a lot of people involved in the playtesting that made the game what it is today.
