    Don Early is a true OG and just a really good person. It’s funny watching this, because having worked for him at Future Sk8 many many many moons ago way before this current chesterfield location, I’d be sitting with him on his couch at his home and he proudly showed me everything shown in this interview and much much more. Don is an absolute hoarder and his collection of skateboard history is truly monumental on an insane level. When he first showed me this stuff I was absolutely mind blown. And everything has a vivid story from Don’s memory to go with it. He’s got a bunch of really cool and unique Neil Blender artwork too. I mean it just goes on and on. Genuine dude! Glad to see he’s still at it. The dude is so passionate about skateboarding that he’ll be doing this until the day he dies

    This place looks awesome, and it’s only about 18 miles from me, excellent. How much to skate the skate park?

      Sweet thanks, I’m definitely going to check it out. I actually think I saw you tearing it up at kinetic park when I first started skating last year. I just saw your RUclips and was like, that’s that dude lol.

    There is one skate deck I have not seen since 1991... The Naked board, made with I think it was called petex. plastic layer so you did not need sex wax. If you do find this gem. please do a video on it. remember how durable this deck was? hard to snap even off a flight of seven stairs.

      Interesting!!!! I remember the slick boards back in the day, but I don’t remember this one. I’ll keep an eye out for it.

    Didn’t know about this and I lived in the city for a couple years. But it’s a little outside town to know about it. And the skate scene is not too good in St. Louis. Prob only saw 5 or less skaters in my time there

    • @TheNostalgicNeighborhood
      @TheNostalgicNeighborhood  11 дней назад

      There’s actually a really nice scene in STL through the years. The skaters are just scattered all over the place in pockets. You just gotta get plugged in…

      Unfortunately, they have to move. As of a couple weeks ago, they hadn’t found a new location yet. Hopefully, they’re having good luck on the new place. 🤞
