You could take a board from the top of the door frame to the top of the closet door frame and make a very large shelf and hide a ton up there then use the shelf that is over the door to store books from the closet elsewhere and then raise the rod in the closet and add a second one for double rods...I lived in a tiny room in Paris for many years and your place looks like a chateau by comparison..
Clever organizing ideas. I'm going to steal some! Especially using the jewelry as part of the room décor. I was impressed with the Harry Potter painting you did. It looks so mystical. Love it. Thanks for the tour and ideas. All the best.
Thanks for the tour of your sacred space. You have taken advantage of all areas of the space. Love how you have goine up to utilize space. I recently downsized to a studio condo. I love it. Similar in some ways to your space. I bought some neat products from Ikea for storage and kitchen. Have a new bed in space that works as bed and chair. Love the fabric that your brother got you from his trip. Thanks again; Jeff
the mirror that hangs on yoru door...you mentioned the metal rubbing noise you dont like...try adding a small strip of velcro to the mirror and door panel. fixed in place now. the velcro now comes with sticky backing on both fasten and rip.
I love your curtain jewelry idea, so beautiful. Also really like the large mirrow you have under your shoes and ottomon. I am also from NYC but living further out to save $$$ and commute about 30 minutes. If I could would love to come back. thanks for this video. 😊
Ur bed is the size of mine my room is legit a closet the people who had the house before us used it as an office a table chair and one seat sofa is all that fit there
You can also hang a wall rack wall shelf whatever people call it, lol but yea I think you should hang some of those things on your wall in the bedroom so that you can put more stuff in your bedroom. :) wall rack wall shelf yea something like, by the way I like your room tho, :)
cool room tour! must be awesome to live in NYC!! have you been in NYC your whole life? I like little apartments, there easier to redecorate! if you Eva want to change the colour scheme etc, its easier to change than a big apartment.. cool mirror!
I'm actually from NYC but I haven't lived there in over 10 years. My Brooklyn apartment had almost 800 square feet so it's possible to live in NYC without being cramped. Anyhow, I'm concerned about the location of your shoes. Over the mirror could be disastrous if a shoe or the entire rack decides to fall. Also putting them over the radiator could end up damaging your shoes...though I do think it's a great idea to put laundry there. Other than that, I really enjoyed the tour.
+Adrianne M I actually agree with you. I have since moved to a new apartment, so it is not a problem. However, I have a pair of leather flats that started to dry out and crack because they were too close to the heat. For my hand wash delicates it was a charm to dry things, though.
+Grace D I have a 3" memory foam pad on the matress to start. Then a cheap mattress pad cover, then a nice set of sheets (400 or more thread count). To top it off I have two down comforters. One is folded in half so that it is the size of the mattress, so I end up with three layers of down comforter. And then you top it off with some colorful fabric. It is pretty much my favorite place on earth. Haha!
+Grace D I don't have duvet covers on the down comforters. However, it is probably a good idea. I got the down comforters from my sister and mother for christmas, but you can get them at Bed Bath & Beyond, Ikea, Macy's, and other similar stores. Depending on how stuffed they are and the bed size they can run $40-200.
+lydia bazuki This is just a room tour. There is a full apartment tour that I did earlier on my channel. You can see all the other rooms, including a bathroom.
@@naty1012 No, My roommate wanted to move, and I couldn't afford the place on my own. I didn't mind the size. I found a place that happened to be bigger and cheaper, though.
If a European or Asian gets an authentic Southwestern Blanket and brings it back as a gift, that person is going to say they got it in America, they won't say New Mexico, or in the Southwest United States. Generalizing makes speech easier for others to understand, and is common sense as you won't have to waste time explaining in detail. To live in specifics in terms of speech would make speech and small talk much more complicated. Have fun in your fantasy land.
I seriously love your space. Especially the mirror with the hidden pocket.

+Yasmine Grant Thanks for watching!
For the Target Mirror I recommend you to tape it down using Double Sided Tape or just Tape.
Could you put those felt stick on pads ( to keep stuff from scratching furniture) on the back of the storage mirror to stop the creepy noise?
Just watched your apartment tour and your bedroom looks much better in that room than in this vid. Looks more cosier.!!
Jodie Wallis Yeah, it was nice before. I've moved out of that apartment and will have a new apartment tour soon!
Thank you for this.I'm about to move into a one room.you gave me some good ideas

Re: mirror, Velcro!
Nice room. I wish I lived in NYC.
+MakeMeThinkAgain I've moved into a new apartment, if you would like to see. ruclips.net/video/tFg1RY8UIMU/видео.html

try putting stick on felt pads that they sell for chair legs for that hanging jewellery mirror
Love your room, so cosy looking . X
You'd make a good interior designer .
Fix the weird noise with adhesive back Velcro strips.
Or museum putty or comand adhesive by 3m.
Loove your room!

I love your room so much!! :D
+Emily Teoh thank you so much! I will be moving soon and will have a video coming up of my new room/apartment.

So where did your kitty go ? I think he has plenty of room, unlike that one person said in last video
omg omg please tell me what all u use on your bed. it looks so comfortable!!!!!

@@LaurenScottWilcher is it that you felt cramped and that you needed a bigger space.

Omg so creepy
"africa".... from more than 50 counties... and people still say "africa"..... hufffff
Sacen silva i don't know why you're offended lol. I mean... Americans. They think Europe is a country
Right, Americans (23 different countries not including the Caribbean) call Europe a country. Or people just don't remember the specific country.
If a European or Asian gets an authentic Southwestern Blanket and brings it back as a gift, that person is going to say they got it in America, they won't say New Mexico, or in the Southwest United States.
