Great vid! I went through the process to update my NAICS and got an email asking for validation information for my CAGE. I already have a CAGE and fully registered. Do I need to provide all of that again for just updating the NAICS?
anytime you update anyting in sam, you will always get an IRS Validataion because it's like you are re registring all over again. So you should be good
Can i input NAICS code for anything I am interested in or do they have to based on my business or I can add other codes that might be outside of the business? Like do the codes have to stay aligned with my business? Hopefully all of that made sense. Thank you
That is a great question. Updating still shows in the system and all CO's can see that there is an update, BUT as a tip, still save on your computer a screenshot of the summary of the nacis just in case they ask. For more training or other options, visit conconnects.com
I was literally trying to skip to the assertations when you said: "And noooo, you can't just skip to the Assertations!" 🤣🤣🤣
LOL
Excellent! I was wondering how to do this. Thank you!

@@katherinejohnson558 YES... I have over 100 codes. You can put as many as codes as there are solicitations in SAM
@@conconnect.s awesome! Thanks so much for responding to my question 💓
@@conconnect.s are you familiar with state and local bidding?
Hi. Is this still valid for 2024? I just tried to follow along and it's not the same unless I am doing something wrong. Thanks
Hi, it's the same, it's just a different look.
should you change your ein number after you change naics
EIN only deals with taxes so you would not need to change anything but your codes
@@conconnect.s thnx
so how many NAICS codes can you have? I didn't realize you could have more than 1.
As many as you need
If I update my NAICS code and it says "in proggress" can I still win contracts? Will officers be able still view my SAM profile?
