My budgie can say many words on English, Turkish and Bosnian language. The most common words are swears as he likes to see us getting nervous 😂 By the way I'm glad that you have mentioned these important things at the beginning :3 whenever I mention birds, everyone is like "do they talk" LOL
yeah like they always ask ''OMG WILL IT ABLE TO TALK" when i say i will get a bird (ill finally get a bird my dad finally said yes thank god) and when i say "no i dont think so but we will see its on the bird there arent talking species" they say "oh ok" and they are kind of dissapointed

@@Sunset013 How is your baby sparrow condition is he injured badly contact a vet as soon as possible. If your baby sparrow is not eating don’t force your bird to eat. If you have other pets in your house like cat or dog keep your bird away from those animals place your bird in a safe location of your home
If your baby sparrow condition worse or your unable to care just try to contact local wildlife rehabilitator in your country
@@ExploreBirdWorld oh yeah his legs are a little bit damaged and his wings so we called the vet already he won’t eat but the vet said since he hasn’t eating in a while we must quickly feed him so we did force feed him and he ate but now he’s eating by himself and when he sees my hand he flys onto it and dosent let go but I don’t know what happened now I left him to sleep for a hour and I came back and he bit me lol

My Maximillian Pionus grew up with larger parrots and sometime sceams as one, but he's also talking, a bit. He knows hello in danish and I love you in english. He just did it and knows that this is how to get attention. He thankfully sceams less now.

@@711froglover why he’s doing fine and we will take him to the vet don’t worry we already phoned and all he’s eating well, he’s eating watery cat food and bird cake and he has a nest with natural fibres and he’s happy

I have been teaching my budgie to say “peekaboo” for the past year but he still doesnt say it😂 but he does whistle it and it sounds pretty funny😂😂 he can also cat call aswell😭 my dad taught hin that. He tends to whistle “wip woo” all the time. Im kinda bummed out that he wont talk but i guess he is just a whistling type of bird haha ! As long as he is happy i dont mind 😌

I love when they speak with the inflection of a question! This is adorable. Any signs of Kermit mimicking Nemo? My first budgie Avocado learned to say a few things from Disco (mainly “baby bird”). Pearl is a great talker, and the laughing!!!! So precious!

My oldest bird Rio (2 years) was by him self for 1 year and 7 months before i got my second bird Primrose (11 months and 22 days) so he listened to me talk and now he says so much its really cool and always shocks my friends
*wasn't planing on teaching him to talk he learned by himself*
My budgie doesn't talk but can pick up on random things like "ow" "peaches" (thats his name) *Peachy boi* (sometimes what I call him) but he never says them again. He picks up on different bird imitations I can do, like sparrows, seagull (He really just did a 2.5 second squeak after I did it but he tried) and canary. `I love him for who he is though

I have this bird but different head colours my own is sleeping right now can’t play with it right now we fed it food, it haven’t dranked water yeah so when it’s big it will start to talk, but it’s learning to talk only when it’s 12 weeks old, it’s nails hurt me when it climbs up me to my shoulder. This is the time where this is almost the same bird to mind but our birds have different names my, bird name is buddy! 5:10

I actually have 2 green cheeks and one of them GreenBean (the older one and also the…yes imma be mean, the dumber one with anxiety due to a past abusive home.) Says GREENBEAN!!! Every time I yell his name when I come up the stairs back from school to check if he is alive. I didn’t even teach him that he just started doing it. He also says stuff like BE-WHO and preeeeeaaaatyyyyy biiiiiiiiiiiiird. My other younger bird with anger issues curses. We don’t know what curse words she is saying but she mutters them when I leave.

@@Sunset013 definitely check to see if it’s still breathing. From what I know, if a bird is injured or sick, you’re supposed to put it somewhere dark and safe until you get appropriate help like a vet. Definitely avoid spooking the bird. More susceptible to getting a heart attack. When I took my bird to the vet earlier this year, we had to put in his bird carrier and a blanket on top to keep him calm

We only have paper towline, towels, cat food, and a very good vet that we found told us we should water down our cat food and give it to him but I’m getting bird in a few days so I guess this was just luck and I’m also getting two cages one for free another I’m just normally buying so it was practically meant to be
I ordered sooooo many toys and perches (like 7-9 toys and 3-4 perches? all natural or natural cotton rope that dosent cause impact ion :)) we are just worried it will try and eat the paper and cause impaction

Avery and Lillie do talk ! Lillie is a senior rescue and her name was Lillie before we got her. And she sleep talks ! I have woken up to her saying “Lillie girl” “pretty girl” “Lillie” “birdy bird” she never talks when she is awake, but it is VERY clear when she is sleeping. It’s almost scary lol.
And Avery , since he is a lovebird it’s a lot less clear. But you can definitely hear him say “mommy” “Avi” “pretty bird” “pretty boy” it’s honestly super cool ! And he screams “AVI” all the time cause he loves the conures. Lovebird talk is very high pitched and screamy sounding, but sound way different then their scream
and chatter. And after a while you could start to hear words.
