  • In this How to Create Amazing One Light Silhouette video, I will take you through how to create a silhouette in a Home Photo Studio using just one light and one modifier. In this one light photography setup, I made use of the Godox ad600bm and an octabox. This one light setup is very easy to achieve especially in a small home photography studio.

    This was something that I used to know very well as a former film studies student but it's been ages so I wanted to go with a pro to find a quick way forward.
    Brother, l watched three videos on silhouette tips yours being the last and I truly regret the time lost watching the other two. You make it simple & the results are amazing. 🎉

      I mostly don't pay attention to the power of the lights. I test and stick to what works. I'm usually shooting 1/4 - 1/16 depending on the modifier I'm using.

    Hi thanks for making this video and amazing photos 😮😮
    I’m a bit confused here.
    Inside the octagon box (background) is it a flash + continuous light? I can see a hotspot from the light in the video but not the outcome photo.
    So the ONE light only is actually referring to one flash?

    • @GhananiePhotography
      @GhananiePhotography  6 месяцев назад

      Hello, I'm sorry for the confusion. Inside the octabox is a strobe, the spotlight you see is the modelling lamp of the strobe.

    What was the power of the lamp? I've got Godox AD600 PRO.

      I barely pay attention to the power of the light. I tweak till i get the desired result.

    Whats the power level of the strobe you use? You forgot to mention it in the video

    • @GhananiePhotography

      i hardly keep that, plus the power level will depend on the strobe/flash you use.
