What are you most looking forward to about the University of Tampa? Are you nervous at all! Thanks for being a part of this community and for 300 subscribers! That is CRAZY!! Love you all! 😊😊😎🔥
I just wanted to say thank you so much for this video! I’m going to be an incoming freshman this fall at UT and I’m from California! Your video have helped me so much and made me feel mor confident about the move! Thank you! Hope to see you on campus !!
Emily!! Awww thank you for these kind words! That’s so sweet! I’m so glad that my videos have helped you feel more confident about the move! That amazing! Thank YOU for watching and being in this community!! Super grateful for you! :)
Oh my goodness that sneezing streak was spot on haha. Thank you for your videos as always! I’m so happy because yesterday I found out what my classes will be and where I’ll be living :) I also got in touch with my roommate, which is so exciting! Can’t wait to get to campus already 😆 God bless you man! Keep up with the videos. Super helpful 🙏🏻
Melissa!! You rock! Glad you enjoyed my sneezing streak and this video haha! That’s SUPER awesome that you found out your classes and where you’re living! Hopefully you’re happy with both! You can always change your class schedule though during the first week of classes if there’s a class you really don’t like! I’m Glad you could reach out to your roommate too!! I’m so excited and happy for you!! 😊😊 Grateful for youu!! 😊
Check out Facebook groups! There are a handful of “off campus housing” Facebook groups that people join to look for apartments and roommates. I’d start there!
Hey Luke! Thanks man! I appreciate you and I’m glad my videos have helped! Can’t wait for you to experience UT! Thanks for watching and commenting bro! 😊
I know exactly how you feel! I can literally remember the feeling. You’ve got this! Take it one day at a time, and go to as many first week events as you can. Check out the organization called Cru (not the rowing club lol)! I joined them and found my people there on the first day but that may not be the same for you. You’ll meet SO many people the more events you go to. Punch fear in the face, and just say hi to people at those events. P.S., it’s okay to eat meals alone. Everyone is in the same boat when they first come to UT! You’ve got this!
Here is a request that you may or may not have time to do. UT is letting in more and more first time freshmen in the spring. I wonder if you could get some information from them about what kind of issues there had, what's the same and what's different between starting in the fall and starting in the spring
I’ve been watching all your videos to lessen my nerves for starting in the spring 2022 which brings me to a question…is there a major difference (other than the obvious things) in starting in Fall and Spring? For example with the WOW week and community opportunities? All these videos have been super helpful thank you!!
Hey hey Ranya!! I’m glad my videos have helped! There are not any major differences, besides the amount of people entering! The fall generally has more incoming students, but both semesters do WOW week, and on-campus activities, and community opportunities! It’s basically just the amount of incoming students that’s different! Hope this helps!
Any chance you have a “How to get in to UT” video? I’m a rising senior and idrk a whole lot about applying, expectations for admissions, etc and I thought maybe you would have some insight :)
Hey GrantTheAnt! I don’t have a specific video on that, but I can certainly make one at some point in the future! I applied through CommonApp, and UT has I think some baseline requirements on their website for GPA, SAT Scores, Essay, etc. I never met with an admissions counselor or anything though. I just submitted the requirements and met the required Stats. Definitely check those out to help you! I’ll work on making a video in the future about how I got into UT that will hopefully be helpful for you and others in the same situation! 😊
Of course! That’s awesome! Good luck with your upcoming college application process! Hopefully your school guides you through it and helps you complete the necessary steps in order to successful apply to schools!
It really depends on the class. Most of mine had some sort of presentation, but the classes aren’t super big so it’s not as scary. It’s still nerve wrecking though. I know how you feel! Thanks for the question!!
