My favorite exchange was: Preacher: "you can't throw these folks out, it is inhuman brother!" "I'm not your brother" "where will they go??" "Out" "are all these people your brothers and sisters?" "They most certainly ARE!" "Good, then you won't mind if they come stay with you"
My fav is and has always been: "It's what people know about themselves inside what makes 'em afraid." But the one you quoted is up there. This movie, like most of Clint's movies, is chock-full of great lines.
I worked on this film made all those noises every one when they film it’s in silence all put in afterwards including voices great job and very important job
The town was just built and still under construction. All western towns have to be built at some point. The bad guys burnt it down 5 years previously requiring it to be rebuilt.
@@bluenetmarketing Sadly today the pen is dead, the book is dead, the people are led by memes and the "stranger" is out to take their jobs and eat their pets, and such an absurd lie is embraced because ideas and thinking are now "woke".
I hear he wrote a letter to Clint saying this is not what the spirit of the west is all about. He “rapes” a woman and kills 3 men before the film hits the 15 minute mark.
Clint was vintage Clint... but don't forget the "bad guys", the women and the citizens... fantastic ACTING. 👍👍👍👍
The tension they build in these scenes is fantastic
Alot faster than you ever live to be' best line in the movie. Classic clint.
A lot.
He was the best at one-liners!!

Just a shout out to the actors who have to play the bad guys opposite Clint and the other movie heroes. They do an amazing, thankless job.
Completely agree!
Agree, all great professional actors and performers in all the Clint Eastwood featured Westerns.
In my other life, I want to come back it’s Clint Eastwood
All Clint Eastwood movies are great.
Wish I could see the whole movie right now
@damianhewitt3031 i think we can on RUclips.
Anyone better?!!
This movie is just too good..
اسم الفلم ممكن
We all want to be as cool as Clint was in these Westerns . Unfortunately for us , it's not reality .
My man Clint Eastwood,my hero.
I bet superman was your hero too......
The local bullies are baffled by this stranger with a presence and cool that they're not used to. He's got gravitas to spare.
Clint the only man who could drink a beer and a bottle of whisky in a 'peaceful hour'!
When he grabs the bottle, the goons suddenly realize he's way faster than they are...
I worked on this film made all those noises every one when they film it’s in silence all put in afterwards including voices great job and very important job
I was hired to do the wind sounds.
Foley artist?
Were those his spurs we heard as he walked up to the saloon?
Our trio of unfriendly locals are stopping in Lago...forever.
...........Beer...................,
And a Bottle..................!
THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He was the ghost of a Marshal that was, well , whipped.
Beer ...and a bottle.
Ain’t much good!
I just realized all of the buildings are brand new, like t hey were just built. The lumber isnt weathered at all.
Game ... SET ... movie
Clint’s land and town.
Poor planning. Typical of Eastwoods movies.
@Lam-he6mj No, it was shot at Mono lake in Cali.

Aaah the life of being a Cowboy 🤠 🍻 🍻
I actually just noticed that Clint's beard in this scene is a lot shorter than in the following barbershop scene. Continuation error.
Dont disrupt his barber shop shave
Scott Walker was in this scene!
Who else thought this was an intro to a treatment on Albert Camus?
Okay just me then.
Albert Camus didn't suffer the authoritarian fools of his time. His weapon was the pen, and it had a razor-sharp point.

notice the bottle moved from his left to right
Cool story bro
Sharp observation
Watch something else.
He's fast alright.
@@sparked3113 maybe even as fast as the Waco Kid …. or faster!
Flea bitten range bums-sounds like a band . John Wayne, with all do respect, was jealous of this
movie.

Individuals in this scene need No Explanation as there Personas/Morals are Clearly Expressed VISUALLY!
He tied up his horse a little too loose. Horse could step over the rein... Clint outta know better
Any horse of Clint's knew better.
Fun fact, the town this movie was filmed in was completely fabricated and built along the shore of Mono Lake California.

Great movie. As far as the presentation and popcorn picks begging for likes, this gets a thumbs down.
Go watch One Life to Live.

You don't get a peaceful minute to enjoy your beverages at the saloon in Lago. Not with these bullying mall cops on duty.
Studly.
Morbid fellow work of the devil!

Nothing worth showing was showed. No like and no subscription. You gained a downvote.
Your crybaby comment gets a downvote from me.
@henniedevilliers7570 - What's "not worth" anything here is YOUR IGNORANT COMMENT
Just a rule of thumb gentlemen, and, ladies
If it's Eastwood or Wayne, it's sacred. That's fact, that's gospel.Now,gimmee a beer an' a bottle
John Wayne and Clint Eastwood are both over rated actors playing the same characters over and over again.
But it's OK if Cruise flies jet planes and is given impossible missions in different decades (and centuries!). LMAO😂😂😂
It is ok we love it.
Nah. They were very good, charismatic actors. But actors will gravitate towards roles that work for them.
And could you play either one of them? Nope. Jealous, any?
Have you seen the crap they make today??? I can watch CEs movies over and over and over....
