Put a throttle controller on my07 srt8 300c response is awesome on the throttle no lag on gas pedal I think it wood hit a 4.5 easy

The heat just isnt our friend 😢, A better tire and a set of adjustable shocks should help you out with that launch my mans. Qa1 has a nice set. 👌 i just got a draggy, pulled a 4.4 in my jeep 0-60. I did a 1/4 mile of 12.7 , im sure if i pull some seats i can crack a 12.5. Not bad for a brick 🧱 lol

Honestly I believe with proper road setting & sound drag radials, I can see you consistently hitting 4.4-4.5s… Catching traction can be a real headache with these cars lol…

Why would you turn off your traction control if you’re trying to catch grip? That’s beats the purpose of it you know, trying to control traction therefore a better 0-60? also having the AC on doesn’t mean anything. Either get better sticky tires or go AWD.

Tips, temp too high, so you gotta work other areas. Drop air in tire some in back. Put a little weight in the back.

Srtdad i had the same problem with my 2007 Chrysler 300 srt8 and I would lose a lot of traction when I would test it but then I added a racing air ride suspension kit and when I would test my 0-60 0-100 it was way better and I would spin less then I would without them but u can also look into getting a kenne bell supercharger and paddle commander

These cars are so much nicer than a scat in my opinion, but I also just have a nostalgic soft spot for 2006-2010 Chargers. Hopefully you can get to 4.5 if the conditions are right. Killer idle though regardless

i actually was going for an srt8 but it got reserved but same day i found a very reasonably priced scat pack challenger and i will say from the factory the scat pack is undeniably better in almost every way but aftermarket wise the srt8 had so much potential
@@ZayNeedsSpeedoh I'm not talking about facts, it's pure nostalgia for me. And I'd be lying through my teeth if I said I wouldn't pick up a reasonably priced scat. I just love the 2006-2009 era chargers. Reminds me of being a teenager daydreaming about driving an SRT-8 in math class lmao. I got a 2008 V6 that I'm about to hemi swap, first car I ever actually owned. So I'm very biased about that era body style

@@bigdawg77 hemi swap as in the 5.7? that should definitely get up, i loved those body styles so much too my only issue with the chassis itself is the transmission tunnel is pretty dinky for the size of the car. you cant fit much more than a 6 speed from the challenger in there i was hoping to slap an 8 speed in one at some point but it requires a lot of extra welding which is time and money of course☹️
Use manual mode next time. Not sure if yours does it but when my 06 rt is in manual mode all i have to is downshift manually and it automatically upshifts for me when i punch it. I feel my car has more power and torque in manual mode.
