He is telling only the truth and truth alone . Indeed it was a golden period in the history of St. Stephan's. I was in Delhi during those period and had the opportunity to watch the happenings closely. Also a teacher in one of the diocese schools for 16 yrs . If they want a non coperating (according to their terms and conditions in making money)Principal to be out bringing these kinds of allegations are a common practice. I am also a witness to luring them using women and money and trapping them and black mailing .As a teacher I know the torture inflicted . I can well imagine what he must have gone through. Respected Prof Dr Thambu could continue in that seat for 9yrs and could take bold descisions because he is so clean and nobody could raise a finger against him for any wrong doings . As said by him in one of the videos he could have made millions which he never did .Glad that he is back in Kerala whose vision and knowledge will be an assest to us . May god bless him .

Prof.Dr Valson Tampu told the truth. He is not corrupt , greedy or after power or position. The question is about his Faith . He wrote a book along with Swami Agnivesh who is a hindu swami .
How can two walk together unless they agree ? For Swami Jesus is a righteous man or a guru or founder of Christianity .Is that the faith of
Prof Dr Valson ? He repeatedly talks about Jesus Christ as a teacher not as a Saviour. Does he believe in the Atonement of Jesus for his Salvation ? Yehushua means "Yahweh Saves ".
Yehushua is the Salvation sent by Yahweh the Creator. Unless one believes that Yehushua is the only way to Salvation his Christianity is one among the many religions and Jesus Christ is just another religious leader.
I wish there were a single person in the Christian community whom I could compare with Swami Agnivesh! As Christians, we make tall claims, but we are cheaper and shallower than all the rest. Our religious leadership is more corrupt and less dignified.

Anyway, I would say that we should not focus so much on the individual, as much on the values and ideas that a person stands for. After all, there is only one individual who is worthy of our attention - Christ Himself.

He didn't have any concern for Christian students when he was principal of St. Stephen's college which was a minority college. My daughter had 75 percent and admission in 1st year of graduation was refused for shortage of marks but a Hindu business man's son with lesser marks was given admission and his mark was enough. If he is not given admission in church it is God 's justice.
Dont you know being a Rev., that Godly preference is for sinners or non christians, according to bible gospels? Even if your allegation is true, its a case to be jubilant that another one who needed a gospel testimony got the chance instead of your daughter. Do you think that God has only one way to bless that you prescribe for your daughter? Thousands who forced to opt for private BA/Bcom graduation or pg in that line are blessed with their efforts. Dont you know that you/we are blessed with taxi drivers, cooks, barbers or nurses who didnt have the privilege of high grade college education? Being a rep of church that promote conversion of non christians into 'so called true faith' how can you still keep that grudge? 😂😂 How your grudge could be justified in the light of gospel when God given a chance to your neighbor than your daughter? Anyway, why your God whom you refer at the end of your comment didnt intervene in the issue that time, as you preach in sunday sermon? 😂 Matter is simple. The merit was probably with that guy considering other factors also in the issue, not higher marks alone. And your daughter should have plenty of ways to go ahead in her academic pursuits without murmur to God, whom you preach as living! By the way, speaking up for the rights of the weaker sections of the laity cannot be equated to a fight for worldly pleasures; but it is more an assertion of an 'equal birth right' of each fellow member.
While speaking of the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven, Christ mentions as follows in St. Matthew 18: 5 - 6.
5. And whoever welcomes a little child like this in My name welcomes Me.
6. But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
Here, I would state that not just the children, but it is our bounden duty to reassure each one of those who are weak in faith who need our assurance that they are all are equal before the Almighty and in 'this House of God' in which they have visited. However, our churches today practice inherent biases one against the other - amongst those who frequent the church. This needs to stop and this can happen when the enlightened church-goers begin to question such practices and seek to settle such disputes quickly. Otherwise, Christ Himself teaches us in St. Matthew 5:25 that we can approach the courts - for the enforcement of our fundamental rights.
The point I wish to make here is - silence in the face of injustice cannot be an option for a true Christian who truly cares for his fellow Christian who is weak. Ridiculing the weaknesses of others cannot be a solution either, by the way. Practical solutions must be found - for the sake of our future generations too.

@@bennypbvr Yes, of course. This self-development approach towards spiritual growth is a mandatory exercise, and is not denied. However, to each his own cannot be a Christian approach either. We also have a duty to create the circumstances in which the spiritual growth of all fellow Christians take place.
Of course, those who rule within the church including the clergy may have a stock answer to the problems within. "If you are not happy seeing this decay within, then why are you here? Leave the church." Of course, the church is nobody's ancestral property, or fiefdom. Each of us have contributed to its growth; and, by our silence - to its decaying state as well.
As such, undoing the decay would also require our contribution, preferably through a multi-pronged strategy. Transparency definitely is at the centre of this change - which i2i is carrying out with aplomb. Yet, this is just one part of the change. There are other parts too, in my view - such as, for example, ensuring that the Church Act comes to fruition. Likewise, having a team/forum of dedicated lawyers who are mindful of the rights of the weaker sections of the laity can also be a useful way forward.
For example, if the synod is superseding the rights of the Managing Committee, then why shouldn't a systematic legal approach not be adopted to remedy this wrong? Why shouldn't the reticent Managing Committee members speak up through legal means against such arm-twisting methods of the synod?
The points that I have spelt out above are all practical solutions that can bring about change within the church. What is needed is the perseverance, and the intelligence not to get swayed by the naysayers who may discourage the winds of change from sweeping across the church. In any case, if the decaying condition of churches continue unabated, it won't be long before the control moves out from the clergy through the Church Act....regardless of the kind of equation that the clergy may be holding with the BJP, CPM, etc. After all, once it becomes clear that the clergy has little sway over large swathes of the laity, their clout with political parties will also shrink significantly - since it would become clear that their ability to sway votes is more towards the negative side, than even zero.
Personally, I am of the view that the Church Act would become a reality in less than 2 years....maybe before the next General Elections. Before that, there could also be some attacks on Christians and other minorities through some anti-conversion laws, etc. at the national level. In short, these are definitely going to be turbulent times for the 'privileged category' of Christians, if not for all Christians.
Let us see what time has in store for us.

Almeeya യാത്ര (KPY) മാത്രം ഇതേപോലെ ആദ്യമൊക്കെ ആയിരുന്നു.
അത് തോന്നുന്നത് ആണ് അതിൽ കുടുങ്ങി കിടക്കുന്നത് കൊണ്ട്. ഇതിന്റെ ഉള്ളിലെ തട്ടിപ്പ് മനസിലാക്കിയാൽ ഇങ്ങനെ ആയിരിക്കില്ല പറയുക നേരെ മറിച്ചായിരിക്കും.
