Hi Mr Walls, I'm a 54 year old lady from the UK. Have just found your videos and they are brilliant. This will be the third time I've tried to learn the trombone and my sticking point has always been reading the music, I've now ordered the book you use and, hopefully, this time I'll be successful at learning. I love being called 'boys & girls' too, takes me back ! :)
Hi Mr. Walls. I thank you a lot for your videos. I'm beginning to learn Trombone at 50yo, here in France, and I can tell you :" thanks a lot, your work is actually helpfull". You're a great teacher, indeed.
C'est drôle, je suis aussi de France et 47 ans au compteur et je découvre le trombone grace à ces vidéos très pédagogiques. Vous utilisez une méthode en complément je présume. Laquelle ?
I am enjoying it too and I am a beginning Trombone player at 47. I have to remind myself that this is supposed to feel a little slow and boring, as is the pace of a competent teacher.
Hi Mr Walls. Cheryl from Australia. I haven't been in Primary school in 55 years, but I'm enjoying your online lessons. My plastic trombone arrived today and I'm trying it and you out at the same time. It's a good fit. Thank you for your time - I appreciate your extra effort.
And I haven't been in primary school in 50 years or so, but I love the way you say: "boys and girls" :-) I have learned a lot and enjoy practice! Thanks again!
Thank you for this timely video. My autistic 10 year old son will be starting band in a few weeks, and I so need this to help him at home. Thank you for your thorough explanation.
