Thanks Jay loved the rear camera footage great to see you and your Dad enjoing riding together enjoy the YTs and the trails be great to ride with you both if we ever met up ...I love my YTs
Thank you! I love the rear view shot, never could really do that before unless you have a good drone pilot. YT bikes are always fun, hoping to get a Capra myself sometime. I’d like to do a group ride at some point so look out for that, enjoy the trails and have a great Christmas 🤙🏻
I’m considering the YT Capra Core 4 MX. Never had a mullet but heard great things. Would you recommend it? And I’ve been using the AXS shifter and I love it. I won’t go back to cables. To me it shifts faster and better under load. 🚲🚲🚲
My dad just got one and they are awesome bikes. I’d go mullet as it’s the best of both worlds but depends on your riding style. 29er is great if you mainly like the speed but the mullet is a bit more playful. Electric gears are growing on me 😅
@JayHurstMtb Yeah man, I'm in Romania with my wife on vacation (she's from Cluj Napoca/Transylvania) and we buy Lapte de Capra (Goat Milk) for our little girl. That's how I know. I'm learning the language too so.... But anyway if you ever get the chance to check out eastern Europe I highly suggest Cluj. They have awesome trails, mountains, and everyone here is on a bike. They are primary transportation for a lot of people so it's a super rad city to check out if you're a bike guy/girl. Just picked up a Rockhopper and an Epic HT just to be able to ride over here. Enjoy your bike man and take it easy!
Hi Jay, do you ride an XL from YT? You look a similar height to me, I'm 6ft2 and just bought a Jeffsy core 2 in XL. Got it home and seat post height is nuts, it's far too tall for me, but doesn't seem as though I can lower the seat post anymore. Bummer.
@@highentropy2468 Hey, you guessed well…I’m 6ft 2! Haha, I do ride an XL from YT as there bikes tend to come up smaller. That sucks about the seat being high, I guess it’s a 170mm drop. You could sell the dropper post and replace it with a smaller travel one? Say 125 or 150mm?
What do you think to the YT bikes?
I'm a big fan of these YT bikes. The bike gives me confidence and ultimately i'm having more fun!!! 👌

@@JayHurstMtb I picked up the YT Uncaged 11, which is a mullet. Loving the bike!
@@HOV4N yes! The uncaged 11 looks sick, incredible bike 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Jay~ nice to meet you, thank you. super video~😲
Hey! Thank you, glad you enjoyed
Fantastic mate..
The yt or the caynon?
Oooooo that’s tough! I loved the YT but I think it may have to be the canyon that takes it!
@@JayHurstMtb thank you.. keep up the great work and stay safe.. 👍
Is there a lot of pedal bob when climbing?
No the Capra is surprisingly good at climbing considering it’s a 170mm travel bike. A lot easier than my canyon torque
Ha! "Capra" is the Romanian word for Goat. Makes sense. Cool videos man keep them going
Really?! That does make sense then. Thank you!

Hey! Did you upgrade the yellow bike? Cause that color comes in core 3, which doesn’t come with wireless shifting
Hey, no I demo this bike straight from the YT mill

What size are you running?
We are both on XL. Normally ride a large but YT said their bikes come up a bit smaller and the XL did feel nice
Good day! Do the MX frame fit only 27.5s or does it fit a 29er if I want it an all 29er? thanks!
They have two separate capra models, ones an MX with 29 upfront and 27.5 rear. But they also have a full 29er model which is the same bike
Hey, how tall are you? Greetings
Hey, I’m 6ft 2
