Woah. I just got back from Botcon 2016 and went on RUclips to catch up on vids and when I saw this I was amazed. It's really good for your first combiner and rivals Combiner Wars in size. The only problem I have is he doesn't have a weapon, though it's understandable why he doesn't because of his hands.

Been working in a large transforming figure for about a month now, and even 7 years after this video, that comment about a large figure not being really posable still holds so true. The addition of those extra large ratchet joints from about a year ago definitely help, but making a minifig scale A-10 Warthog transformer is still very difficult without him just collapsing under his own weight. Striking a balance between articulation and stability seems to get exponentially harder with lego since even the large ball sockt joints go floppy really fast and ratchet joints can only take so much weight.
Worth the wait for sure. An excellent technical achievement. Looks pretty great too, with the exception of the skinny thighs. Really great though, considering the limitations you must've hit, must have been hard.
I can actually imagine this in a show, the helicopters and cars come rushing in, transforming mid-way and connecting while Metalhead starts transforming into his Torso mode.
Aw man I got an awesome idea! Make a transformer that is a tool carrying truck known for his engineering skills making weapons for the others to use! One other idea is a combiner where the individuals transform as well as the final build.
This is really good! Now you need to make an autobot combiner and I've made a lego transformers combiner with 3 sets if twins and all the extra combiner parts combine to form a robot that also transforms it's on my channel somewhere but overl this is the best combiner I've seen!

Assuming the lego minifig is 1.71 meters (the average Hight globaly) then Death toll is about 8 meters tall at the head and 9.3 meters at the shoulder For the Americans that's 26.2 and 30.6 feet or for the other kind of Americans, that's 157.2 and 183.6 McDonalds hamburgers tall respectively

2 questions. 1- Do you still keep the transformers from your older/oldest videos?? I really hope so, as Metalhead really reminds me of Warhead. Another thought that comes to mind is that you may use them for parts. and 2- Have you ever thought of doing or getting someone to do stop motion vids with your Lego Transformers?? I personally love the idea, but I can easily understand why you might not want to. The whole danger risk of the figures falling and breaking apart.
one suggestion is that for the parts that fold back to reveal the knees for the combiner could fold all the way up and transform to make the thighs larger because otherwise they look really flimsy
i think metal head's knees in Death toll's mode are getting in the way of stabilization. Recommend putting a stick pieces to connect the joints together even if it becomes a parts forming.
Actually the knees are the strongest joints in the build. It's the hips and ankles that are causing trouble but unfortunately Lego doesn't make joints that are stronger than what Ive used.
I know this isn't the right video for this comment but I notice since I found your channel some (not all) transformers have just a 1x2 brick and a stud in the center maybe you could try making different types of heads to make it a bit more cool but I do understand the head has to be a certain shape for transformation but I just wanted to say

Death toll looks more like an accurate transformer in size
