Thank you,Rick. A clear talk on “how to feel already ok”. Almost passed by the title of your talk and glad I did not. I need to listen to it again. Are the talks applicable to safety, satisfaction, and connection, forthcoming or did you already do those talks? From your book “Just One Thing” I have two mantras: slow down and take in the good. Keep teaching us!😊
At the end of this talk -- which I too almost passed up! -- Rick says that the next few talks will deal with safety, then satisfaction, and connection. "See you then!" ☺
I think for me, my problem with not feeling ok is associated with how other people bothered me when they act like a child. I.e. not taking their own responsibility, laziness. And there are a lot of people around me who act like that. If I can work on closing down the machine of “becoming”.. becoming free of these horrible past, then perhaps I can feel i am already are.. the present moment, of being ok.. hmmm ..
What if what is mostly true about you is really bad? That it justifies one's parents, siblings, and children, who keep you at a safe distance, who at best allow you near them, and at worst, ban you from all of them? It Must Be True that I'm horrible - or all these wonderful people, the people I love most, would not have exiled me for so long.
Even though your basic okayness may seem inaccessible, it is, in fact still there. You don't have to win the favor of your family in order to connect with your essential goodness. I think the next week's talk might be worth checking out. I know it will be for me, especial because of he'll be talking about the effects of trauma. Sending care

Me too! I wonder if that's because of our biological drive to "become" :)

Wishfulness of becoming free of the mistakes from the past. Forget you’re perfect offering. Maybe There if some Wildness in spirituality.

@@sandramedina9482 That is a question mark.

It’s likely much more about who they are and what is going on for them than about you. Love yourself and your inner child most ❤️
Wherever you are..on your journey..you are Okay ToDay 😊❤
