I can personally confirm lots of this information. Especially the well of life mod. When that stacks with restoration from sol invictus you're just stupid levels of unkillable. I don't even bother LFGing for nightfalls anymore when i just want to knock out the pinnacle. Can just solo the whole thing. Also my hammers name is Nyammers. UwU cat boy hammer go bonk~

This was a really cool playbook especially when compared to the void hunter one which focused mainly on one set up while solar titan playbook focused on a set up but what different things you can do with it

I highly recommend having powered and unpowered melee set to different inputs because if a boss is about to stomp you away you can just use a well timed uncharged melee to avoid the knock back.
Yep. I’m on console and I have my uncharged set to circle and charged set to R1. Unfortunately it messes with icarus dash when I’m on my warlock but I don’t really use it much anyway.
I'm with you on the Warlock comment. I feel so underpowered as the hunters and titans around me slaughter everything and remain invincible . The closest I've gotten is the Starfire Protocol build and a Melee-focused Karnstein Guantlets build, but even then I still have to play it safe while everyone else runs around having fun

Bro this vid is a absolute LIFESAVER!!! I was getting so frustrated with the melee / hammer throw getting messed up all the time, to the point I didn't want to play anymore. The rebinding of those buttons like you showed fixed it 100%.

Buddy the explanation on how to customize my controller so I can keep tossing that hammer at close range already put this video in my top tier. Also realized that there is no need for Empyrean using lorely and replaced it with ashes for now. I do use 2x utility kickstart on class item so I really have these rally barricades even faster then back to back. For point defense its great. You videos are great and in-depth and I love the fact you don’t use artifact mods as a crutch like literally every other RUclipsr out there. Keep it up 👍

My build was very similar but I was running Elemental Charge/High Energy Fire. I'm not even sure if HEF works for boss damage so I went with your mods for more wells.

Brilliant man! Having not played with my Titan for a very long time this has helped immensely. I’m on my third solo run through of the Witch Queen campaign, having already done it with my Warlock and Hunter. So it was time to bust out the Titey-Whitey… I was running a Synthoceps build which was fine but just jumped into today’s Legend Lost Sector and got dropped a Loreley Helm with a high Resilience roll… Delighted! I sub seeking wells for font of might when paired with solar weapons, and sub out bountiful wells for well of life, because why not. Also elemental charge, HEF. Striking light is also great for team play and even more survival.
If you are using synthos you don't need melee finisher. Unpowered melee kills will count for melee wellmaker if you have roaring flames and your melee will usually one shot with synthos up. You can also use your melee for basic add clear since it does so much damage and spawns sunspots. Very helpful when you don't want to risk losing your hammer.

Auto Melee setting, in my experience, has always depended on which melee you are using. If you use a projectile melee ability- it seems to only proc uncharged melee if they are within a certain distance. If you use a contact melee ability it procs it first, if available. My solutions is jumping back/up and throwing melee.
Split your melee up. Bind rt bumper to charges melee, regular melee to clicking rt stick down and move finisher to up on the dpad. Absolute game changer for hammer titan. It’s really just all around better for all characters because u don’t waste charged melee on killing a single red bar enemy which regular melee will easily kill.

It was easy to follow and the DIM links allowed me to very quickly put a build together that out the gate is rocking double 100’s. As far as my performance, weeellll, me…I’m the guy who throws my hammer off the map. Lol. I’ve only explored synthceps right now but the build crushes. I would be really waiting for the stasis hunter playbook featuring the Renewal Grasps, Assassin's Cowl and Bakris Mask together with Ager's Scepter. I know warlocks are better with this exotic but I love this thing too and I think the crowd control capabilities of that thing should not be overlooked on any class. Really loved the first two which made me a void hunter main at least for this season until I discover something stronger and build myself a better armor. Great guide! My Elemental well setup is similar but a little different. I use Melee Wellmaker, Bountiful Wells, Elemental Charge, Font of Might and High Energy Fire. Each hammer kill creates 2 wells, and with radiant+FoM+HEF you get about double damage (187.5%) from solar weapons. Pair with Cataclysmic for huge numbers

The auto melee thing is not a bug, they had confirmed it in a previous twab (the one that stated the changes that allowed you to seperate charged and uncharged melee), i think.

I'm a hunter main who has been blown away by how fun Titan Solar 3.0 is. It's probably not as min/maxed as the three exotics you recommend, but I've been having a ton of fun with using Heart of Inmost Light to juggle buffs to melee and grenades.
Bro!!!! I made a custom load out for a hammer bonk build, but had no idea that setting them to the same bind (PS5 controller user) and your video just blew my mind
My hammer name isn’t intimidating but makes me happy and does what it says on the tin. I call it the “mini hammer” and then the super is the “big hammer”. Love your videos, you put in amazing research and I love how you break everything down and explain everything.
Not that one should do this but if roaring flames is active an uncharged melee causes scorch this was mentioned. 3 melees causes enemies to ignite. A scorched enemy that dies creates sunspots. Also if the uncharged melee kills an enemy it also spawns wells with melee wellmaker.
I've already been running a pretty effective Loreley build this season, but there were a couple things I overlooked that you pointed out that I'm going to integrate. Good stuff!

I kind of felt like I just sat through a class with a very good professor that just talked the entire time, but didn't show us how they were doing what they were doing.
@2:50 yes you can change this on console BUT it will change other action/buttons so best check all button presses and change them back to what you normally have
At last a true guardian, hats off to you buddy, this is the kind of content I have been searching for all of my Destiny career. And that means from the 6th Month of 2014.
Simply the best explanation video I've ever seen. Great video. Must have taken a while to put together. Edit: Have had a day with the Phoenix now and I must say, it's an amazing build even for average players like me. I could do legendary lost sectors but it would take me almost up to the time limit with backing off, taking from range. I've just managed to do the two legendary lost sectors everyone seems to hate the most on the moon and I can now do them in 7 minutes. As long as you get that first red bar with your hammer, the loop is off and running. The 1-2 punch adds so much to this build when all you can see is explosions and flame blooms and you throw your hammer only for the fallen to jump aside with the reflexes of someone who knew what I intended to do and see your hammer fly into a bottomless hole. I don't even use my super until I get overwhelmed and I frequently forget about the grenades because I spend so much time hammering stuff Only times I have been killed is when I get too cocky and try to take on two unstoppable ogres with no red bars in sight and not using the champion mods. I've also been insta-killed by the architects a few times...
I don't have the hammer well maker or bountiful wells yet, but I have been running reaping wellmaker and well of tenacity with a loreley build and, even when I was doing it poorly it was keeping me alive in lost sectors when I was under leveled. It basically makes you even more unkillable than before, and acts as a last resort defense option when your getting overwhelmed and your class ability is popped. Just shotgun or rocket a red bar or low health enemy and for 5 seconds nothing can kill you, allowing you to reposition when youd otherwise would get one shot.
The way these vids are structured are so dope! I still play with your Void 3.0 play playbook to this day! I cannot wait to see what you do when Arc 3.0 Is here!
This is so well put together that even though I'm a Warlock main, I've actually pulled my Titan up to current light level so I can use it on occasion. It also earned you a subscriber and a like. Keep it up.

I've been working on levelling and catching up my titan since I'm usually a warlock main, and I've been using heart of inmost light nonstop. Run around killing things with hammer and just spam grenades and barricades. I don't have any good stat armor yet so it really makes up for the cooldowns, but even with already low cooldowns and good stats I imagine it's great still.
I don't think there is another destiny RUclips content creator that provides as much detail in their build videos! I love Cool guy, Datto and Plunderbooty. But they have nothing on this. I'm not a hunter player, but the invis hunter video did tempt me to try it. Now with this. I can feel at home with sun titan

The bit in the beginning about how to set up permanent charged melee usage when its available is so useful. I've always been annoyed by the game have me lunge forward with a normal melee despite the charge being full and then MISSING on top of that because of the target being to far away for the normal melee to hit.
This is great! I already have my set up but the whole layout of the video is phenomenal. Sectioned of into chapters for easy following, showing each of the mods/fragments etc as well in depth explaining what/how they work is great. I’d love to see more of this for other classes/builds! It was easy to follow and the DIM links allowed me to very quickly put a build together that out the gate is rocking double 100’s. As far as my performance, weeellll, me…I’m the guy who throws my hammer off the map. Lol. I’ve only explored synthceps right now but the build crushes. I took it straight into duality and just walked through it. I’m having a lot of fun with a class I never really explored. Really good stuff. Thanks again!

I would be really waiting for the stasis hunter playbook featuring the Renewal Grasps, Assassin's Cowl and Bakris Mask together with Ager's Scepter. I know warlocks are better with this exotic but I love this thing too and I think the crowd control capabilities of that thing should not be overlooked on any class. Really loved the first two which made me a void hunter main at least for this season until I discover something stronger and build myself a better armor. Great guide! My Elemental well setup is similar but a little different. I use Melee Wellmaker, Bountiful Wells, Elemental Charge, Font of Might and High Energy Fire. Each hammer kill creates 2 wells, and with radiant+FoM+HEF you get about double damage (187.5%) from solar weapons. Pair with Cataclysmic for huge numbers

The auto melee thing is not a bug, they had confirmed it in a previous twab (the one that stated the changes that allowed you to seperate charged and uncharged melee), i think.

That melee fix is a godsend. As a hunter main, ive always hated their melee since it was so unreliable against thralls and the like. You've saved the day completely.

I'm a hunter main who has been blown away by how fun Titan Solar 3.0 is. It's probably not as min/maxed as the three exotics you recommend, but I've been having a ton of fun with using Heart of Inmost Light to juggle buffs to melee and grenades.

This video has allowed me to easily solo every GM this season, another banger Mac!!! PMD
Not that one should do this but if roaring flames is active an uncharged melee causes scorch this was mentioned. 3 melees causes enemies to ignite. A scorched enemy that dies creates sunspots. Also if the uncharged melee kills an enemy it also spawns wells with melee wellmaker.
I've already been running a pretty effective Loreley build this season, but there were a couple things I overlooked that you pointed out that I'm going to integrate. Good stuff!
Now this is what you call great builds and not just using the same solar build everyone else uses but different variety and in depth guides explaining how they work well done I really hope your channel grows way more

@2:50 yes you can change this on console BUT it will change other action/buttons so best check all button presses and change them back to what you normally have

Have had a day with the Phoenix now and I must say, it's an amazing build even for average players like me. I could do legendary lost sectors but it would take me almost up to the time limit with backing off, taking from range.
I've just managed to do the two legendary lost sectors everyone seems to hate the most on the moon and I can now do them in 7 minutes. As long as you get that first red bar with your hammer, the loop is off and running. The 1-2 punch adds so much to this build when all you can see is explosions and flame blooms and you throw your hammer only for the fallen to jump aside with the reflexes of someone who knew what I intended to do and see your hammer fly into a bottomless hole. I don't even use my super until I get overwhelmed and I frequently forget about the grenades because I spend so much time hammering stuff
Only times I have been killed is when I get too cocky and try to take on two unstoppable ogres with no red bars in sight and not using the champion mods. I've also been insta-killed by the architects a few times...
I don't have the hammer well maker or bountiful wells yet, but I have been running reaping wellmaker and well of tenacity with a loreley build and, even when I was doing it poorly it was keeping me alive in lost sectors when I was under leveled.
It basically makes you even more unkillable than before, and acts as a last resort defense option when your getting overwhelmed and your class ability is popped. Just shotgun or rocket a red bar or low health enemy and for 5 seconds nothing can kill you, allowing you to reposition when youd otherwise would get one shot.
The way these vids are structured are so dope! I still play with your Void 3.0 play playbook to this day! I cannot wait to see what you do when Arc 3.0 Is here!
This is so well put together that even though I'm a Warlock main, I've actually pulled my Titan up to current light level so I can use it on occasion. It also earned you a subscriber and a like. Keep it up.

Fantastic video and editing, well earned sub. I am a returning player that’s been back for about a month. I’ve checked Ada almost every day and she refuses to have melee wellmaker. They need a better system for combat mods.
If u have roaring flames on, the "uncharged" melees also procs melee wellmaker. It counts the melee as if it's a charged melee.

I've been working on levelling and catching up my titan since I'm usually a warlock main, and I've been using heart of inmost light nonstop. Run around killing things with hammer and just spam grenades and barricades. I don't have any good stat armor yet so it really makes up for the cooldowns, but even with already low cooldowns and good stats I imagine it's great still.
I don't think there is another destiny RUclips content creator that provides as much detail in their build videos! I love Cool guy, Datto and Plunderbooty. But they have nothing on this. I'm not a hunter player, but the invis hunter video did tempt me to try it. Now with this. I can feel at home with sun titan

The bit in the beginning about how to set up permanent charged melee usage when its available is so useful. I've always been annoyed by the game have me lunge forward with a normal melee despite the charge being full and then MISSING on top of that because of the target being to far away for the normal melee to hit.
This is great! I already have my set up but the whole layout of the video is phenomenal. Sectioned of into chapters for easy following, showing each of the mods/fragments etc as well in depth explaining what/how they work is great. I’d love to see more of this for other classes/builds!
