With as many characters as there are, I do understand the complaints about having to unlock them all in Ultimate, even if I am the type to enjoy doing so. Still, though, being able to unlock Sephiroth early by defeating him certainly made his drop one of the more memorable ones. I also really get the bit about comparing things. It's easier to get the idea across and maybe sell someone on something new, if they're already a fan of what it's similar to, but at the same time, saying a game is just this, but with this, feels like I'm selling it too short, unless it's really wearing its inspiration on its sleeve.
