Finally a bass clarinet marching perspective video!! I always love it when bands march low woodwinds. I’ll see y’all this upcoming season. I live in San Antonio
OMG! That was awesome (and terrifying too)! It looks totally different from “the performer’s” perspective. Just goes to show how complex and precise every move has to be, else there will be a collision of major embarrassment! That’s why so many hours of practice and repetition. Because the uniforms and plumes look so much the same, and only the height, gender, and instruments differ, how do you spot your alignment so quickly and especially when walking backwards? BTW, I am a band parent of someone in Hebron’s band. I saw the hard work put into that performance, so I know that something of major work went into this one from CTJ. I admire everyone’s effort! You had a very fun and inspiring performance! Thanks for posting this amazing perspective!
I had the privilege of watching the semifinals and the finals run. The amount of responsibility for one performer is beyond what many in the audience can imagine. This was most definitely the performance of a lifetime. Congratulations on an incredible season!
From a bass clarinet player from lee I like your tone and your deliverance to the show. I think you can agree that bass clarinets would need better music to play. All aside, nicely well done, can't wait what's in store for next year.
This ting Thanks so much!! This means a lot to me since bass clarinet isn’t my primary instrument. And I agree, bass clarinets definitely need a little more love :)
if you use or share my video, don’t forget to give me credit :)
