If Sanchez forehand was more dangerous she had won Wimbledon, but she won every grand slam, when it's was not in single, she won it in doubles or mix. She was one of the fewest who was nr 1 in singles and doubles. Respect for these women.

Aunque haya ganado 2 grandes Muguruza, no me gusta nada su juego, al igual que Badosa, es pegar y pegar, pero cuando las cosas no les salen bien, se apagan. Back when Graf was the queen of *fast* grass, not like today's so-called "grass" surface. Nadal would have never won Wimbledon had he played in the '80s and '90s.
Grafs footwork is like a gazelle or like a reindeer. Her legs are strong and she just moves so quickly and smoothly in the tennis court. Grafs footwork allows her to run around her forehand and set up an inside out shot which is very deep and dangerous.

It's incredible how close the ball is to Graff's body on some of those running forehands. Favourite female player of all time.
They described her forehand as a "buggy whip movement"! I can see that!
Halep , Henin , Cleisters would of loved playing in this era. Beauty , Grace , Intent , Skill ,and professionalism. Wonderful era of tennis. I tell learners and those wanting to improve matchplay to watch these women. Especially on clay. Love , Love , Love it , thanx.
32 points in the 28th game of the match and neither looks tired, both moving and hitting as if it were the first game of the match.
Magnifique championnes ! 🙈🙉🙏respect for the game !
great game, with very few unforced errors, a testament of how good both were.
Back when Graf was the queen of *fast* grass, not like today's so-called "grass" surface. Nadal would have never won Wimbledon had he played in the '80s and '90s.
Absolutely right.
Steffi the greatest of all time ^.^
Yes, she is the GOAT.
Yes ♥
after martina navratilova
Stephanie graff was hands down the best female tennis player of the 1990s, we will never see her like again.
Nope.
I will admire staffi games in 90s she is King of ground all four Australia, french, Wimbledon &usopens .
Grafs footwork is like a gazelle or like a reindeer. Her legs are strong and she just moves so quickly and smoothly in the tennis court. Grafs footwork allows her to run around her forehand and set up an inside out shot which is very deep and dangerous.
That second slice @ 5:34 went straight down....just incredible!
Love u Steffi ...
i lost count of how many deuces....so much work for one game!
