Two months ago I went on my first group trail run.
I made sure that they knew i am inexperienced. It was a (mostly) out and back.
Going out was great. Following the vehicle in front of me usually showed me what to expect. True "spotting" was through a narrow switchback canyon. Each vehicle spotted the one behind once clear.
Going back, the order of vehicles changed and the driver in front of me took off.
This helped me get stuck at one point, due to my inexperience. The driver behind spotted me through undet my own power while the driver in front of me watched from a ridge a quarter mile away.

Sounds like a good trip and that you moved up the experience ladder a rung or two. Keep it up.

Very helpful, less daunting now. We give signals at work but thats for craning and fork lifts, totally different.

Scott Byczynski Hopefully you don't put a fork into a three point stance :-) Glad you liked the video and I'm sure with practice you'll become a pro.

We've had our 135' aerial work platforms have some wheel lift before pretty scary stuff, high 75km/h winds trying to button things up so they wouldn't fall off 100' up. We use bigger forklifts telehandlers is what we call them to build equipment and they have articulating chassis's so you could lean the body over to one side if ever needed haha. I think its like 10 degrees of side tilt. Are you going to be going to the FJ Summit ever again or would you rather just go out on your own camping?

We hope to get back to Summit one of these times. We'd like to follow the COBDR which winds through Ouray and spend a day or two catching up with everyone.

On the Voodoo FJ Cruiser they are Walker Evens beadlock wheels with BF Goodrich TA Mud Terrains (285x75x17). On the Cement FJ Cruiser they are OEM TRD wheels but don't recall the tires.

Why clench your fist for stop? I thought universal 'Stop' is an open palm facing the driver

you have palms out for direction so palms forward could be misunderstood... just like "whoa" can sound like "go" so always yell "STOP"
