Robots against loneliness were already a concept years back in Japan. They didn’t bother with a plushy pet-like form factor. Rather, plasticky droids.
i would like a robot that looks and (especially) act like a lingerie model to take my loneliness away...who cares about a seal??😛
I did chase a memory buildup in my program, only to find out that Windows (NT4 or XP) only did its memory garbage collection when the window was minimised! Well, maybe there was some other way, but as I hadn't sold my soul to MS I wasn't able to find this secret. Anyway, in the end I had tested every memory allocation/freeing to make sure it wasn't my program that did anything wrong.
Notice it's not something they focus on reporting the issues not counting all the malware apps and wise companies went back to using old computers that don't connect
