    What grows hair?
    ✅Commitment
    ✅Consistency
    ✅Care (being extremely gentle)
    ✅Cleansing (solid scalp and hair cleansing regimen)
    ✅Crops (crops (vegetables), overall diet, ample water
    Hair is constantly growing, but must be maintained to thrive. (Cleansing, grooming)
    I have used these ingredients to help me achieve waist length hair. In addition, you must keep your hair in protective styles (twists, braids) for long periods of time. (3 - 4 weeks at a time etc) practice gratefulness, positive mindset, excellent diet, proper sleep, consistency, exercise, gentle detangling, no heat at all (my experience), daily oiling of hair ends , deep scalp massage, diy natural mild shampoos and deeply moisturizing diy conditioners, practice mindfulness and lower stress. The results are my own. All results vary. Hair does not grow long overnight. Average hair growth is 6 inches a year. I started my natural hair journey 10 years ago but had many setbacks as it took many years of research and trial and error to find methods/products that worked for me. Of the 10 years, it took me roughly 4 years to achieve waist length hair.
    More insight: I’m a non-smoker and do not drink alcoholic beverages, nor do I take any medications.

      I’m so happy to hear that Kathy! Teas are so healing and effective for scalp health and hair growth stimulation! Yes I’ve tried Bay leaves, basil, rosemary and also some other herbs. Only thing with green tea, is I do not like the idea of spraying caffeinated teas on the scalp. However, I think there are no adverse effects, but I need to research more into it.
      Either way, sounds like your regimen is working for you!💕

    How come they tell you only to apply oil to dry hair? I have 3b / 3c curls and want to tame frizz so I always thought, apply leave in and gel then add an oil to seal moisture but now I’m hearing you should only put the oil in when you scrunch out your gel cast but when I do that I feel like it can make my hair a little frizzy and weighed down. Wondering what’s the benefit of doing it this way. I know my hair isn’t 4 type but it is very curly, I’m on the cusp. Just less hair :/

    • @tialynn1111
      @tialynn1111  9 месяцев назад +4

      Wondering who says only apply oil to dry hair?
      I think it’s best to apply the oil when the hair is a little damp. This way you hydrate the hair first, then you seal the oils in. It keeps the moisture locked in longer.
      By all means you can put oil onto dry hair, but keep in mind after the hair ‘drinks’ the oils up, the hair may feel dry again 💕

    • @TheRefinedBudget
      @TheRefinedBudget 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@tialynn1111 thank you so much! Every curly hair forum I go on that has anything to do with oils. I also hear that applying oils at all is a bad idea bc then you can’t refresh your hair during wash day bc the oil seals and won’t allow moisture penetrate. So much conflicting info :/
