I’m honestly glad to know that I can buy a rosebud tip to melt a higher quantity of metals rather than buying a whole other torch to do so. Great video!!
Just got one from UK today been waiting 8 weeks ! I have the propane Oxy set up insurance reasons ! 3rd generation jeweler 35yrs ! Thank you never used one as in Australia , I could not find many that supply this bud ! Plenty LPG and Acetylene . Bought from Cooksengold Thank you again !
This is great to hear! Sounds like it was well worth the wait
your demos are far superior to most very detailed and specific thanks
Thank you for the kind feedback :)
Thanks for the diagram showing the difference between the two. Found a similar item in a 2nd hand shop here; I knew it was a rosebud, but wondered about the gas involved.
Awesome video and yes I got the torch tip ...and it is flipping Awesome ...talk about quick melt I love it
very cool
If I have an oxy con that only puts out .5 bar oxygen, can I use this nozzle?
Hi Stephen, unfortunately the minimum pressure for using this nozzle is 1.00 bar, so would not be compatible with an oxygen concentrator. Kind regards.
normally there should be pressure regulator inside the oxy con - normally near the output or O2-container. Mine is adjustable up to nearly 2 bar. Normal pressure would be only few psi.
@@cooksongold A 5L / min concentrator from Philips delivers approx. 0.4 bar pressure. 14 kPa is approx. 0.14 bar. So in theory it should work very well.
@@dredd3964 14 PSI or 95.5 kPa is what the pressure chart says, that is still about 1 bar and almost 1 atmosphere. Where did 14 kPa come from?
@@cj691 right!
6mins… next to useless. Use acetylene for that quantity. That length of heating has oxidized the hell out of it.
