One of the worst things you can do to an engine, start it and just let it sit idling. Always start it and move off asap to get the oil moving around everything and warmed up as soon as possible. Sorry to sound negative, but half the reason bore score happens on Porsches, even worse when it is winter.
You don’t know what you’re talking about, the engine has an oil pump that provides plenty of pressure to keep the oil moving around around. You don’t need the vehicle in motion in order to lubricate the internals of the engine.
@@DaBooster You want to get the oil up to temperature as quickly as possible. Sitting there with it idling is not good. Cold starts are the number one reason for bore scoring on Porsches. It has been discussed and diagnosed for years.
