Just to add to this excellent video, I'd like to comment on the significance of Precision Mode in controlling tightening torque. Basically, Precision Mode controls how many impacts are used before the drilled cuts out, which helps prevent over-tightening. So for example, in Drive Mode 1 I've reduced Precision Mode to 2, which gives a brief burst of impacts before the wrench cuts out. With a 21 mm socket, this gives me almost bang on 100nm of tightening torque for my car lug nuts. Using this same setting on a 36 mm socket for a motorcycle axel nut, I get around 50nm of tightening torque. This demonstrates the high variability of tightening torque depending on socket size, which is most likely why Milwaukee do not give specific tightening torque ranges - because it's too hard to calculate. I also tested the much-talked-about lug nut control using the lowest setting. It tightened all the lugs to about 140 nm (which is too high). So for me personally, using Drive Mode 1 with Precision Mode 2 (for a 21 mm lug nut socket) gives the ultimate lug nut torque control. Hope someone finds that helpful.
I have the 2767-20 and that thing's a beast. I replaced the blades on my parents' lawnmower with it, 3 years ago. 17 years of rust, broke that lugnut right off. I would've never gotten it off by hand.
I purchased the 2863-20 which is the one-key tool-only version. I didn't need the kit, I already had a charger and 2 batteries. It was priced at checkout at $269.00 plus sales tax, which for me totaled at $290.52 on 03/26/2021, shipped to home, free delivery.
thanks for the review just bought the 2863 was $788 here in Canada . so tired of corded or air line tools . Hopefully it will last me a lifetime only concern is battery replacement down the road
The wireless control seems like a great idea... however I'm concerned about the longevity of making my tool more computer.... I feel like the amount of abuse this thing's going to take, this system is just another thing to break.. like all things do
I just got mine back from Milwaukee repair (you take it to the UPS place) because the One-Key deal stopped working. They fixed it. I'd avoid One-Key if you don't absolutely need it.
I’m a DIYist and probably don’t even need a high torque to begin with, that being said I plan on getting the 2863. I would rather up front that $50 and have the capabilities of the app. Specifically for lug nut removal
Thanks for the awesome videos, I’m trying to decide between the Milwaukee and the rigid I have rigid tools already but I’m more concerned about power. I want to be able to get stuck bolts off. Which impact should I buy
Definitely Milwaukee, it’s a power house. I just got the 1/2 impact for working on my trucks and it’s amazing! I love the power plus it’s been through hell already lol
Is it possible, for example, at level 1 to adjust the torque more precisely? Because if the tool has more or less 25 lbs of precision, it would be important to focus it on our needs... Would the ''Hilti SIW 6AT 22-V Li-Ion Cordless Impact Wrench w/ Adaptive Torque'' be better and more accurate but without bluethoot?
Hi there hope you will be safe and doing great. Want to know is there any overvoltage protection in milwaukee 1 inch impact wrench. I was testing one & accidentally checking using 24v would it brings harm to the tool. Other thing M18 battery has four contact point two contacts big and two contacts are small do they have different voltages. Thank you.
With one key can't you reduce the torque to use the 1/2 as a 3/8 without really worrying about breaking shit? I haven't used it but watching this makes me think you can use a 1/2 at lower torque 3/8 situations so you need one less tool
No, not at all. There is no impact wrench that is accurate, even Milwaukee will tell you this. You should always complete the final tightening with a torque wrench.
@@Nintendude2013 I would usually agree with you .... but when the answer to your question is explained in explicit detail .... that means you didn’t pay attention at all...so right back at ya...DON’T BE DUMB
@@Shoptoolreviews I used the app but can’t see lugnut, only custom and concrete anchor, should I use the too first, because it’s never been used. Thank you. Happy new year 🎊
The ONE-KEY version, all the presets can be customized. The 2767 High Torque is just a incremental incline in power from 1 to 4. Reverse on the 2767 is always 100%. Thanks for watching.
Why in the heck can’t Milwaukee make the battery fit tight? I’m very disappointed with that one thing, even craftsman V20 battery’s fit the damn Tool Tight!
Correct, that is a big spread, that's why you still can't skip a torque wrench step. This is only to get the fasteners in the ballpark, so you can finish with a torque wrench. There is No impact wrench that is a precision fastener. Where did we not test with a torque wrench? Thanks for watching.
The DeWalt high torque is the exact same in power, watch “REAL TOOL REVIEWS” of that guy comparing the Milwaukee, the DeWalt, and the ingersol rand on a skidmore wilhelm. The DeWalt and the Milwaukee are the same. (Edited the channel name)
I'm not going to comment on another's results or testing, and especially when I know him. I've worked on a skidmore and spoken with Skidmore Wihelm, and I've used and tested every popular cordless impact on the market. They're not all the same. Thank you for watching.
IR makes some great impacts and I think their halo light is the best in the industry. I just don’t know what’s going on with their cordless tool side. They’re licensing a lot of the tools now. I’m really curious to see if they’ll come out with anything new in the cordless world.

thank you so much for your easy simple way to explain the setting on onekey. great video.

I'd like to see if torque sticks could be used with these guys.
Slinging lugnuts and sockets around the place is half the fun
No doubt about that. Thanks for watching.
So on the 2767 does the different modes control torque or do the modes just control rpms?
Well done. Done well.
Thank you.
The long anvil tire impact is similar in power I believe. Great video
the long anvil has a power drop. Whenever you go longer, you introduce torsion and that sucks up the impact.
@@kartboarder22g17 what do you use the long anvil for
@@silinusvers I don't use the long anvil but good for guys pulling off semi lugs as they are deeper in the wheel.
