    Thank you, Gabriele. This is so helpful. I'm trying to forgive someone who owes me a lot of money. Like you said, forgive not because he deserves it, but because I deserve peace.

    • @gabrielemartinelli
      @gabrielemartinelli  6 месяцев назад +5

      I remember when I used to struggle with anxiety many yers ago, I started practicing this technique by having a daily "20-minutes-of-anxiety" where I would lay down on my bed, and just allow my body to feel it. It made such a big difference! 🙏 So, try to do the same, sit with those feelings without trying to change them-just observe. Then, make a conscious decision to let them go! Consistent practice is key, you got this! :)

      @@gabrielemartinelliI've taken your advice and have been focussing on the anxiety for 20mins for the last 3 days. I set a quiet timer. It literally physically hurt the first day but I kept focussing and the tension dissolved by the end of the 20 mins and I was able to let my anxiety and fear go. Day 2 and 3 it was intense to begin with and then ... I fell asleep! I would never have expected that! I still then let fear go. I will keep doing this. Thank you so so much Gabrielle ❤

    Great video, thank you✨
    I was wondering if you have experiences with my question below:
    (I love this technique and I do it regularly when I feel frustrated or when I think about my heartbreak. It really works wonders!).
    But let’s say, I am in a good mood but I really want to do the ‘letting go’ techniques on my self for example letting go of sadness (because I know I have a lot of sadness stuck inside), how do I start doing this technique, without being in that feeling of sadness yet?
    Or does this technique only works when you are ALREADY in that specific feeling (like very sad) in order to let go?
    I know I have a lot of shit to let go🤣 so I don’t really want to wait until I feel sad to let go, I want to do it whenever I want to, but I’m struggling with How to do it when I’m not in that state of feeling yet.
    With love♥️

      Feel in to it.

    • @gabrielemartinelli
      @gabrielemartinelli  6 месяцев назад +2

      Thank you so much for your question! Love to hear that the technique has been helpful for you! 🙏
      Now, to address your question: The Letting Go technique can be used proactively, even when you're not currently feeling a specific emotion like sadness. Here’s how you can approach it:
      Reflect on Triggers: Think about situations or memories that might bring up sadness. Reflecting on these can help bring the emotion to the surface. Sometimes, simply setting the intention to feel and release sadness can be powerful. Sit quietly for a while and tell yourself that you are open to experiencing and letting go of any sadness within you.
      You can also close your eyes and imagine a situation where you felt deeply sad. Allow the memory to evoke the emotions naturally.
      Once you have the emotion, and you feel it, get rid of all thoughts, situations, and memories, and just stay with the emotions and with the sensations in the body.
      Using this technique, combined with practices such as meditation and breathwork can also do wonders! And most importantly, if you know you need to release some of that sadness, really make this into a daily practice!
      Hope this helps ❤

      @@gabrielemartinellithis makes sense, but once I feel the emotion ex fear.. I find it hard to sit with the feeling only. I get stuck in the thoughts/triggers . I find it hard to let go of the thoughts... Since the thoughts are probably my way of escaping from really feeling the repressed emotions.

      I'm really sorry to hear about your struggles with anxiety. I know how it is... I've been there! But it's AMAZING that you're taking steps to improve your overall health! :) Here's a little daily routine for you:
      Morning:
      Mindful Breathing: Start your day with 5-10 minutes of mindful breathing. Focus on your breath to calm your mind. At the end of the breath, set an intention for the day. Who do you want to be today? How do you want to act? And if challenges come your way, or unwanted feelings come your way, how are you going to react? Visualize it in your mind.
      Gratitude Practice: Then write down three things you’re grateful for. This shifts your focus from worry to positivity.
      Midday:
      Positive Affirmations: Repeat affirmations like “I am healthy, I am strong” to reinforce a positive mindset. It's best to do after a 10 minute breathwork or meditation (minimum), to get your brain waves to slow down.
      Let Go Practice: Do this practice for 20 minutes (Super Important)
      Evening:
      Reflective Journaling: Spend 10 minutes writing about your day. Reflect on your thoughts and feelings without judgment.
      Guided Meditation: Listen to a guided meditation focusing on relaxation and letting go of anxiety.

    I tried this exercise this morning. The feeling is fear/anxiety.. I tried to feel it and not go into my head.. however when it came to the intention of releasing it, that was hard. And then my mind would go into fearful thoughts to keep the feeling of fear present. And that has been my loop. Its wanting to escape the fearful thoughts, but at the same thinking the fearful thoughts so as to keep it present ... Can you please give some input🙏🏼

    • @gabrielemartinelli
      @gabrielemartinelli  6 месяцев назад +1

      It's completely normal to feel like this, especially during your first time trying this exercise, that's why this is something to be practiced on a daily basis! When the intention to release feels difficult, gently bring your focus back to the sensation in your body. Acknowledge the presence of the fear without forcing it to go away. Also, deep, slow breaths can help calm your mind and body, making it easier to stay with the emotion without getting lost in thoughts. Then, forgive yourself for having these emotions. Self-compassion can reduce the hold of fear and anxiety. And if helps, you can visualize the release, for example you could imagine the fear as a tangible object leaving your body with each exhale. This can help create a sense of letting go. Remember, it's a practice, and it takes time. Be patient and kind to yourself as you continue this healing journey. You've already taken a big step by trying the exercise-keep going! If you have more questions, feel free to ask :)

    Sooo, just did the excercise laying down and breathing feeling pain around solar plexus first - anxious and then stomach - guilt and shame - then the heart sadness and back to plexus for anger - felt deep release between each spot and thought I was done after 3 points, but my body (especially arms) where so heavy and my eyes wouldn't really open without what felt like forcing them. So did some more breathing and the plexus turned on again when i finally felt finished it felt so good and really lightminded! In a different way than meditation usually does!
    Any particular breathing pattern recommended for this? (I did like a mediyoga breathing (not sure) like full your belly like a balloon and then your chest like a barrel. Felt nice, but maybe you have some more efficient breaths?

    • @jkongsgard
      @jkongsgard 6 месяцев назад +2

      Also felt alot of tingeling, like a mix between anxiety attack tingeling and meditation tingeling when focused on particular parts of the body in the hands and arms and eventually, close to the end also in the face ad head.
      Thx Gabriele - ❤

      I'm so glad you had such a profound experience with the exercise! It's amazing how our bodies hold onto emotions and how powerful it can be to release them! 🙏
      Regarding breathing patterns, it sounds like you did a great job with deep, diaphragmatic breathing :)
      Also, it’s normal to feel tingling sensations and heaviness as your body processes and releases emotions. These sensations indicate that the energy is moving and being released from your body!
      Keep practicing, and feel free to share any more experiences or questions you have ❤

    Bro how can we change our beliefs whenever i affirm i get weird resistance in my body

    • @gabrielemartinelli
      @gabrielemartinelli  6 месяцев назад

      The resistance is normal, it''s your mind's way of protecting established beliefs. Begin with smaller, less threatening affirmations to build confidence (ex. instead of "I love myself" you can do "I'm learning to love myself"), and repeat them daily, even if they feel uncomfortable at first. Over time, they will become more natural :)
